Hi

Yeah same engine so same issues ref chain etc, saying that we ran a 59 plate mammoth adventure model for 4 years with no hassle up to 109K. Pretty thirsty high 20s was real world figure, Road tax is harsh on the early ones i think it reduces dramatically on the 2010 onward models. All in all it was a good solid tool 7 seats were a great feature. to be honest the mrs is looking to go back to a pathfinder again after a year with a diesel insignia so i guess this says something positive

I thought water drips off the back of the cab on the nav and on to the chassis and then it would snap.

Well check out the group fair number of pathfinders with similar problems being bought back by nissan

I've run one since 2008, only had the usual ware and tear. Providing you find one with good chassis I'd recommend it.

All info available here, Nissan-Navara.net Homepage

Edit - I'd get the chassis inspected prior to buying and if it is good I'd price in a dinitrol treatment or similar.

Ok if there is metal to weld chassis are not heavy duty had company one with rot neither of the pro welders employed would touch it so sold for breaking
