I don't want to be working like a mad man, but I prefer that to sitting about waiting for the hours to pass.

I've worked with lads who don't want to work, I found it really boring, but better to be busy and suddenly find its time to head home.

But each to their own.

On days I leave at 9 to avoid traffic as I'm 30 miles out of London arrive at 10 get a bit done then slip off to the cafe get back to site do a bit then shoot off about 1 ish

Last big job I was on 900m we needed to average 30 meters a day or we,d fall behind or get to far in front

I try to avoid days I prefer nights

I started out in line clearance, I really enjoyed it.

Got all over, in some very beautiful places.

Worked some very nice, very big trees.

Live line work was always interesting :thumbup1:

Im sure there are beautiful places that would be soothing for the soul to climb in utility work but i can only judge on my limited experience grounding for 3 days gettin eaten alive by midges...wasnt fun.

Id probably feel different if i were climbing though tbf

Are you link up approved Joel or sponsored by the likes of Qts, homegrown, ground control etc.

I've worked on it, NR day works and price work. Getting up at the crack of dawn to travel two hours to a site, leaving home at half 11 to do a nightshift and sacrificing your weekend to do a sat night shift. Working away! Yeah cushy number pal.
