This twin stemed oak had to be removed as it was leaning right over the road and the farm on the other side of the road. Granddad is having the firewood, he hired some friends of his, with their fancy kit to help :P was an incredible job to help with :thumbup:

proper job! did the back stem roll off the stump or just sit on its other halves, i bet that job went like clock work with the upmost of ease by the looks of it, obviously there will be some safety clothing issues brought up but by golly those boys know how to fell and log. awesome

twin stemmed oak on a cross roads, its a village dave out in the country, they have loads of trees. Do they get some fancy tree surgeon type to close the rd and charge a couple of grand to tickle it all day with girly wee saws, or call in grandpappy and his mates, fell the old girl and that be the end of that:thumbup1:
