Bedmax and Verdo are both made in Andover Hants and they both have reject stuff. Not sure if it's to far but a good van load may be worth while.

 

 

Thanks for that but I only need a few bags a year during the coldest weather.

 

As it is I now see I'll run short on logs but at least I can turn a radiator or two on as we have gas central heating.

Thanks John, I called in today and picked up 3 bags to try. Works out about £266/tonne which is comparable with other makes but it is oak which probably means it's 10% less calories than softwood at the same price.
