Be careful of modifying existing chains with a grinder - it can weaken the chain on that cutter. I snapped a couple in the early days doing this...

Rob those 3/8 058 chains fly, that 16" I got from you is an animal on my 372.

 

Are you able to offer any advice on the 560 3/8 conversion??

 

I think you will need the clutch side cover from a 562 to make room for the 3/8 drive . You will find though that if you run outer dawgs on a 560 they wont fit the 562 clutch cove as the mounting holes are further apart .

Seen a bunch of people running the 3/8 and it seems just a sprocket and bar/chain is all that's needed.

 

If there's a way to get a 562 case and dawwwwwgs that would be awesome.

This saw doesn't get to much use so want to make it a monster with full wrap and skip chain.
