small stick of dynamite defo the easy way bit of tidying up after no small grinder set up on a small platform made of planks or ply sheets on timber support frame done it for several stump in a large rockery

If none of the above are viable, take us much off with ya saw, get a rotatech chain & cut as many deep cross hatched cuts to remove as much Wood as you can & fill with firelighters etc, Stoke with blower. Marshmallows are optional.

...or on a scaffold frame. Pat Ferrett did some stumps for me years ago using this method. Can't find the pics though.
