Lights and front mounted equipment

I have recently changed tractor to a valtra that has front links which has allowed me to carry a timber winch on the front but this then obscures the lights. I can flip the headlights from nose to top of cab on a dash switch but now do I need to have some marker lights on the front of the winch?

Was thinking something magnetic...

That tractor looks like it has plenty of power, in which case I wouldn't worry about trivial things such as visibility and general safety.

I think you reflective strip would do the job.

 

Depends how often you are traveling with the winch on front as to how much effort you are going to make.

You could probably get some sticky marker lights

Magnetic fall off and you will run over them.

You need some headlights and indicators on the winch, I added them to the chipper.

Get a reflective strip on there. I'd get some magnetic head lights too just because driving with just top lights is hard.

I reckon an ally plank, fitted with headlights and indicators, couple of bolts with wing nuts so it can sit on the front, bolts through the chain slots.

It's not just about seeing, your winch makes a fair distance between drivers eyes and the first thing to creep onto a junction/ blind corner/ etc
