I have a 395xp which I will be selling with a 20, 28 and 36 inch bar and chain. I brought it new in 2009 and they are still all the original chains, probably used 3 times a year and is in excellent condition.

PM me if interested but I will be putting in on Arbtrader in the next few days.

Cheers

Thanks to all who have sent PMs about the saw, cos there is quite a bit of interest I will put it on Arbtrader with pictures/price etc tomorrow, if still interested then we can go from there. Thanks

I bought a 3120 last year, looked at the 395 first but decided that the former would be a better bet.

I have heard some people say they never use such a big saw, or use it very little.

I dont have a problem with it, in fact i like it, a LOT.

Whats the difference between the 395 and 3120 apart from the engine size?

Thoughts?

Weight and RPM . I have had both . Eventually sold the 3120 as it only got used once in a blue moon . 395 revs a bit higher but not as much torque obviously but I prefer it . Mine runs a 36" .404 and the 3120 had a 50" canon but over kill for me .

You had better buy a pallet of aspen,my 395 uses 3 litres of fuel an hour.can drain a 20 litre jerry can a day.but at least you got the right saw

Finally got to use it in anger yesterday, 24" 3/8 bar on felling and ringing up some spruce and a big ash. Its a thirsty bugger!! 2 gallons of aspen and a gallon of oregon chain oil, €70.... the tw190 cost less to run for the day!!
