Nick Eden (Director AA) is in discussion with BBC to get a follow up show, to not just focus on the industry, but also "to give viewers advice on how to employ a reputable tree surgeon".

There may be an opportunity to air something in the New Year.

Anything that helps to promote the industry to the great unwashed, is good in my eyes :thumbup1:

Will he just be pushing the use of AA approved contractors? What about us guys that are not but work to high standards? There is only one approved contractor in North Devon (who are not even based here), and they do seem to get the lions share of LA work etc.

Hmm we will see. Ive got some work comming up with the local paper down here to try and promote the use of ledigit tree care companies, just simple stuff like customers asking to see proof of certs and insurance, getting a few quotes in etc. They are also interested in the issue of Phytophthora ramorum that seems to be sweeping across the county.
