Cheers all, iv just seen a transit 460 tipper does any one run one of these, I would get it down rated to 3.5t

Probably not as there rare as rocking horse s**t,

but some do come up with the 3.2 5 pot 200 hp lump very nice

Slightly confusing list, as it shows the worst payload in order, the worst being the ford transit.cabstar has always had the best payload, hence when cherry pickers are often mounted on them.

I have my second Citroen relay (van, not tipper) and it's superb. Given that with all the bells and whistles (and I mean so many options that once it started being built at the factory they took it off the production line as there were 2 more options than the computer could process, or so I'm told) it only cost £18500, I can't see past them to recommend anything else.

 

With the 160PS engine in mine and heavy duty rear suspension, you scarcely notice a 2.5t trailer and 1t in the back. It just pulls hard.

 

They must do a tipper for reasonable money.
