Hi

I've just put a deposit on a chipper near Preston but as it's a 4hr+ drive away I was wondering if some one a bit more local could go take a look at it for me and make sure it's all ok. Obviously willing to pay for your time etc

Pm me or text/call 07900552547

Cheers

Jonny

I'll go and look for you Jonny.

Is there a luxury hotel nearby that you can book me into? Make sure there's a minibar in the room too!

I'll have to charge you mileage as well as my savage hourly rate as I'm 4.5hrs away but don't worry, I'll provide a thorough appraisal, that I'll text you.

🎁🎁🍾

It's a bit of a minefield Jonny.

My brother had some associates in the north who looked at a chipper for me.

They gave it a thumbs up (they were ag engineers, not mugs) when I got there, brakes were disintergrated, rollers and anvil wanked, but engine and basic mechanics sound.

My point is, it's a big ask to get someone to vet a big purchase like that.

Yes you're absolutely right Mick. Maybe I needed to word my post a bit better..

Because the Chipper is the EBay I wanted to make sure it actually exists! It's a 4.5hr drive for me. I've just had a call from someone whose 15 mins away and said he'll pop round to have a chat with the seller. That way I can then come up to check it all out.

Got to love the Arbtalk Community :) [emoji106]🏻
