I like hiflex but they dont hold up well to brambles and thorns.Phanner gladiator are awesome troosers

I currently have a pair of "sleeping bags", a pair of hi viz arbor techs, a pair of pfanner arborists and a pair husqvarna technicals. And the winner is pfanner! The only exception is sleeping bags when grounding in proper cold and not moving much.

Have a brand new pfanner arborist, super trouser because i do horselogging so walk a lot, i have some sponsorship from Husqvarna so i received al the technical stuff. Also great trouser and jack but a lot of orange hahah[emoji3]. Helmet i use a protos

I think we are spoilt for choices these days , on a whole all are so much better than they where years ago in terms of weight, durability and comfort the cream in imo are pfanner arborists but look around see what's on offer, husky technicals are £120 at honey Bros at the minute so that's £100 off retail...have decided to give them a go after buying three pairs of pfanner arborists in less than 3 years.

 

H.B have C type technicals at £115 + vat - So I had to get a pair

I'm fancying the pfanner gladiator but as I'm not a climber I won't need the full wrap around protection. Where do you horse log? I've got the husky technical helmet. Good bit of kit. Really do fancy a protos though

Just bought a pair of pfanner after having husky still and arbortec they are amazing so bought a second pair !!

The best feature for me with the pfanners is the tick guards on the bottom legs with boot hooks, amazes me other makers never followed suit.

I'm pretty sure that was a feature on some of the trousers I looked at, could it have been SIP? I don't think I looked at Pfanner as there was so much else to buy and the Pfanner were pretty expensive. Whoever it was I liked the idea but went with Stein Kreiger for climbing and Oregon Yukon for regular forestry work, dead stylish LOL. (pretty comfortable, quite light and seem hardwearing though)

Had pfanners for years. Stein kreiger arborists all the way now. Fit is better than the pfanners and just as light.
