I haven't currently got a pillar drill or bench grinder so just looking and saw this on eBay for £12, got a decent makita drill. Anyone think this will or won't work?

I think you will need to keep the drill pressure even and the drill speed relatively low for this method to be effective. Not sure you could achieve either with that?

No idea. Haven't used a pillar drill since leaving school. Don't really want to spend out on a dedicated one just for the odd tooth.

Is this diamond wheel "safer" in terms of less-toxic dust?  And if used to sharpen greenteeth is it the right diameter, thickness and curve to create the correct concave finish?

Hi Stumpy... which coarseness of wheel did you get?

I wanted a coarse one but they only had medium at the time which works well!
