A few people seem to be falling for fake news again. Look at the faceless crowds dudes! I wonder how much of this stuff is actually put out by the Trump administration, it's one of his specialties after all.

What percentage of the media footage of the riots is AI fake, and what percentage is real, in your estimation?

I've no idea, but let's say 5%. The actual figure doesn't matter, it should be 0. The concern is that the so called leader of the free world believes that it is acceptable to routinely pass off fake news as actual real news, lies and opinions as facts, etc etc. Or maybe he knows it's wrong but doesn't care as his supporters let him get away with it, which is worse.

I suspect that Trump believes that 5% too. His short attention span and surrounded by yes men, very much lives in his own bubble, with the yes men simply confirming the thoughts that pop into his head, even better if these thoughts also have a (AI) video clip to go with them

For number 5 his historic contempt for women might suffice? Things like his infamous "grab them" quote, a belief that he can take what he wants and the way he objectifies women.. all from his stories or the legal battles he has fought as back up to this.

I think you were overly harsh in your initial scoring. Surely all the Pro-Life, anti women's rights stuff counts as rampant sexism. I'd be fair and give him and the regime top marks, 14 out 14.

No one has really answered my question yet, so I'll pose it again.

If Trump doesn't represent a fascist ideology, then what would you consider fascism to be?

A useful guide is the 14 early warning signs of fascism, as was displayed at the Holocaust museum in the US:

  1. Powerful and continuing nationalism

  2. Disdain for human rights

  3. Identification of enemies as a unifying cause

  4. Supremacy of the military

  5. Rampant sexism

  6. Controlled mass media

  7. Obsession with national security

  8. Religion and government intertwined

  9. Corporate power protected

  10. Labor power suppressed

  11. Disdain for intellectual & the arts

  12. Obsession with crime and punishment

  13. Rampant cronyism and corruption

  14. Fraudulent elections

With the possible exception of Rampant Sexism, I would argue strongly that Trump et al are meeting and exceeding the requirements for the other 13 points.

J, these lists are old news from 2016. Lefties were losing their shit over Trump then, they still are, and nothing really has changed, except the lefties lost their grip on power.

The whole conversation that Trump and the conservative movement in general are fascist is played out and cringe.
