Proper good geezer who like many of our grandparents & great grandparents fought for our liberty in WW2 against the fascists. In the 1930s Hitler & his cohorts tricked & brainwashed the entire German nation using fear. They were tricked into believing that those different to them were to blame for all the country’s woes & all individuals personal problems. They focused their hatred & bigotry on innocent Jews first. Then they came for the gay community. Then they came for toddlers with any kind of disabilities & then older children with any kind of differences be they ADHD, autism or behavioral issues who they then murdered.

 

Sound familiar? Well it should cos it’s happening again right now in plain view with the Alt. Right propaganda machine, who’ve been drumming this kind of bigoted nonsense into us for nigh on 15 years now. Then there’s the Tories, Republicans, Democrats & Labour, all NeoLiberal subservient shills to the Ultra Rich global oligarchy, their greed & their far right media machine, who are again tricking the entire western world, just as Hitler did, turning good people with big hearts into fascists based on pure LIES to incite nationalism, bigorty & hatred, in exactly the same way as what was done in 1930s Germany. Can’t you see it? Isn’t this what our grandfathers & forefathers fought bravely against & in many cases gave the ultimate sacrifices for?
 

All you people hating on ethnic minorities, the LGBTQI+ community & more, that’s you that is, 30s Germans brainwashed into hate. Give your heads a wobble. The reason you can’t think for yourself or outside of the box because you’ve been manipulated, which is not your fault. They’ve used your good heart & nature to trick you with lies that have riled you up, fueled your fear & driven you to hate, just like the German Fascists did to their people. It’s not the minorities who are the problem, it’s the oligarchs. How do you feel about that? Don’t care? No, neither did the Nazis.

We have to stand up to Nazis in all their forms. Racists, misogynists, transphobes, homophones, Islamaphobes, Antisemites & now tossers like JD Vance calling on an Autism list?
 

Call out fascism wherever you see it, it’s our duty & the least we can do after our forefathers fought so bravely to defeat the evil of fascism & bigotry a mere 85-90 years ago. Lest we forget. "

A series of first hand accounts of life in 1930's Germany telling how The Party slowly infiltrated everyday life. The resounding message is, "by the time we realised we had to act, it was too late".

In newspapers, churches and schools - especially biology and history - The Party came to dominate everything; if The Party teaching wasn't taught then teachers were dismissed; their dilemma was whether to stay and do what they could - by making The Party nonsense a boring lesson and the true lesson exciting or to refuse to teach The Party line and leave knowing that a Party member would take over and indoctrinate the children with lies.

Every newspaper was required to take on a Party member who would check that everything printed was in line with Party accord: if any newspaper owner dared to print anything otherwise, or was brave enough to criticise The Party then they were closed down - or worse.

Slowly, surely, they crept in. But it was already too late.
