Spitting Image. What a program that was. Shirley it's well overdue being brought back, there's not enough political satire on the box now. Some on the radio yes, but not on TV. Legally in the US where this happened, the girl is a child. A law maker should be aware of this.

 

A president should also know the law and should not be promoting such criminals into government.

 

I assume then that in the UK you'd be OK with a 35 year old sleeping with one of your 17 year old daughters? You'd be quite happy having a beer with the man before he goes to your home to see to her? Didn't think so.

 

Noting also that in the allegations against Prince Andrew (also aged mid thirties at the time), in the UK that girl was also 17 and no crime was committed and yet look at the UK press on the subject.

Taking your comment a step further that because the girl in question is of the legal age of consent - in another country - and so that is OK, why not look at all the countries of the world? Where do you draw the line?

Not at all but it would be a small thing to ask that the law makers respected the law wouldn't it? There are some crimes out there - and I count rapes and child rapes - that should sit uncomfortably in the mind when you are going to put a cross on a piece of paper to vote. You are obviously quite happy that Trump is accepting of others sex crimes against children... not a thing that sits comfortably with me I'm afraid.
