Alternatively you could have a front bench of which not one individual has ever set up or ran a business. Mind you there are a couple in there with a loose grasp of the truth not unlike yourself so I guess you are fine with that. Talking of money you don’t need to look farther than the Blair family to see how profitable politics can be, even the son “ now an MBE is worth around £350million .

😂😂I’ll remember that next time you mention the tories Mark. Truth is I’m only pissing about at the end of a 12hr shift to pass the time. The whole Trump US democratic process is not that high on my list of things to give a shit about.

He wouldn’t pass a dive medical.

Would he fail the medical because of his impaired brain, or his fatness?

Anyone with the responsibility of POTUS should be able to rescue a brick from the bottom of their local pool.

Spoken like a man who’s never had to do an HSE diving medical.
Too old and his BMI would be over the limit, brain wise well compared to some of guys I work with he’d be absolutely fine.

I have dodgy hearing, I have tried diving, and really like SCUBA, but it put too much pressure on.

I can probably pass most medicals where hearing and associated pressures aren't a consideration.

I really hope you're joking about the "brain wise" bit.

it would be a fecked up world where peoples actual real time safety relies on a dottery old man with a loosening grip on his marbles.

You mean like the whole Biden presidency

Eustachian tubes are claggy, equalising doesn't work.

Unfortunately with his Big beautiful Bill that's passing through the system just now, there are cuts to services such as Medicare (usually used by the poorest) and some tax rises (prediction is anyone earning under $50k will see tax rises this year), but these cuts are offset by tax cuts (for the richest), with the predicted net difference being 3.6 trillion added to their national debt over 10 years.

I don't think you can have an efficiency drive and cut taxes simultaneously to reduce debts. What you can do is refinance and kick the debt to be repaid a few years in the future, long after your time in office is over and long enough for that generation to forget whose politics added to the debts in the first place.

I am sceptical though how much of the efficiency drive is creating efficiencies in the system and how much is a vindictive drive to cut that Trump doesn't like or has an argument with. That is not creating efficiency, they are government cuts.

Even The Elon agrees
