Somewhat of an ironic argument from a employee of a Scottish government

😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mind you that explains a certain reluctance to be honest about what you do for a living. I’d imagine the only thing more embarrassing than saying you work for a failed discredited Scottish government is to admit you work for the HMRC on a forum of predominantly self employed blokes, 🤔 saying that come to think of it he has a lot to say about tax and people’s earnings. He could always look into the self appointed queen of Covid and chief nanny Sturgeon seeing as she’s now paying herself dividends from her ltd company she set up to put her “ biography “ earnings in.

Trump 2016 vs Trump 2025.

You have to be thick as mince to buy what he's selling.

It's a cult thing for sure. Although I'm thinking that he has started a new religion tbh.

Distraction, are you taking the piss ?.

You just want him standing there doing a Starmer, saying 500 words of nothing and just doing a glorified filling a soundbite until the next question.

Springsteen should atleast stick to him "principles" and move like Rosie and the even worse Ellen.

Springsteen was soooooo principled he gave Joe tonnes of money did he not and surprised surprise sod all improved.

It might be his free speech, but surely if he renamed the tour the "Steven P has terrible lefty views and opinions that make mother Teresa question her religion" you have a right to I dunno voice a response?.

Going back and keeping on target of what Springsteen did, rather than what Rosie or Ellen did (we can talk about them later if you like).

He used free speech to criticise Trump... as is his right and in fact the right of us all... and Trump cannot handle it so he threatens Springsteen ('say that to my face and see what happens'), insults him and rubbishes him. All the acts of a dictator trying to shut down all critical words about Trump.

End of the day it is another example of Trump unable to handle any criticism, he is surrounded by syncopates and is acting a bit like the emperor who has new clothes but no one dares to tell him he is wrong... cannot handle the truth you see.

If he tour was called that my response would be more dignified and would not be lowered to insults.

Absolute BS, more 6th form debate club waffle.

Off you pop to the GP for a sick note and a trip to dignitas for terminal TDS.

Yup, that's true. If only Springsteens criticism of Trump wasn't captured on video and Trumps stroppy twatterings didn't happen you would of course be correct there, no record, it didn't happen.

Do you actually think the average American give two shiny shites what Springsteen and his lovey liberal ilk think ?.

If they listened, Taylor Swift would have swung the election wouldn't she!.

Your grifter is unhappy Donald is the Boss for a second time, a real boss that's actually doing something instead of winging instead of crying on tick-tock.

Behind the rant though is Trump trying to silence any criticism. Others have tried that before and generally history have judged them to be dictator types and generally poor leaders (Stalin would be the most notorious example, Kim Jong Un and his dad, numerous others). You can see how he talks to the press who ask him 'awkward' or searching questions "you should be ashamed of yourselves" "no wonder your press organisation is failing" - usually in capital letters. Trying to shut down any criticism and accountability.

This never a good thing. Without scrutiny the leader can do what they want... which is essentially a dictatorship.

Springsteen is another example of this, with the veiled threat at the end "would you say that to my face".... well, yes. The threat of a coward and a bully who does not have the mental ability to react otherwise.

I see these as desperation, avoid all scrutiny at all costs, from a failing administration

Because like a lot of you political obsessed types brought up listening to idiots like ed and his 5th form debates, which are more evasion than debating.

You sit there pontificating, deliberating every single full stop, apostrophe, pause and breath.

Which is part of the problem, go back 20/30 years and politicians spoke like a relatively normal person instead of corporate fluffy speech bs with buzz words.

Which is what Donald does like a normal person, he answers questions he wants to but he can't politely tell a reporter to do one.

Or would you prefer he stands there corporate waffle and saying absolutely NOTHING?.

I don't want a leader who waffles on like the majority of current leaders, you are correct. I'd like a real leader, who leads by example and can eruditely put his point across in a debate. Who wins others over by logic and reason. A man of honour and standards.

That's sure as hell not Trump. We are where we are because the alternative is even worse, which is a very sorry indictment of the state of office on both sides of the Atlantic today.

That rambling rant by Trump is just embarassing. Incoherant ranting, attacking Springsteen for things totally unrelated to his politicaly views. Playground insults, with primary school punctuation to match. This is the President of the United States! The world is laughing at America.

Go on then risen to the bait this morning. Name them, what has he done that has succeeded so far?

- Price of eggs have fallen (not through Trump but through supply chains recovering from bird flu)

Yup, that's me and my Trumpy success list.
