Oooh, a nasty windfarm. Ouch that burns the eyes. Hope you scrub yourself well clean this evening working to keep that horrible green energy flowing, get rid of the stench of hypocrisy.

But on topic, I see The Huge Trump is turning, accepting that electric cars are the way forward (perhaps only the Swasticars though?), he'll soon be on target for windmills too. You'll soon be the only dinosaur left on the planet

😂😂😂 my first wind farm job was in 1996 you daft bugger, I’ve never hidden what I do (unlike yourself )  and the fact renewables is and always has been part of it. Thankfully some of the huge taxpayer subsidies they get  works it’s way into my pocket 👍👍win win I’d say

Green energy you say 😂😂😂if only you could see the amount of vessels here 😂😂

You think the structure in the  picture was made from fairy dust, the net zero green energy super power shite only fools the gullible SP, check the UKs status in regards electricity cost.In the meantime I’ll easy take the dayrate for this no problem 👍👍

Grrr! Tell us about the bear in your mind. Is it a big angry one? Is it gainfully employed? Is it wearing a tie? Enquiring minds need to know.

My employment status and occupation is here for anyone to see and always has been.

Why anyone would hide or be embarrassed about what they do is a strange one but hey 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Just saying 😂

Yes, yes, yes but the bear, tell us about the bear.

PS For m'self, I have no idea where or what those profiles are (apart from being on here of course), whether they are an option or a requirement; so han't so much hidden my details as just had no idea there was an option to tell people such things (or indeed that anyone actually gave a fk)

PPS You are now being creepy if that helps.

Bears! 😂😂 Creepy 🤷‍♂️ being  open and honest you mean. Regard’s giving a ****************, bringing a relevance to a topic ie being self employed and effected by for example the twin cab pick up tax changes rather than just mouthing off about it whilst hiding behind the anonymity that the forum can offer if you choose  is fair. It genuinely just never occurred to me that people would be that embarrassed about how they make a living that they make a conscious often ridiculously blatant effort to hide it.

“ Are you self employed or employed “ 🤷‍♂️it’s not exactly a killer question by any standards is it 😌😂

To help keep the British people safe from the climate emergency and support energy security, we are...

I saw this earlier and looking at that gullible mong talking about climate change in China of all places 😂😂😂I couldn’t help but think of you SP. You’d have to be a total ****************ing retard  to buy into this fools shite about green energy.

So wind farms are bad this morning then? Not payday till Friday and working away from the family to sell your sole to the devil getting at you? Don't worry, they'll be brilliant again when you get that shiny shilling in your hand Friday afternoon.

but... on topic...

I see there is no hell let loose in Gaza after another weekend of hostages being hostages

The Great Trump has effectively said "Only kidding" on his much repeated claims that he would stop the Ukraine war within 24 hours - it is now just a goal to do sometime

He has also been exaggerating his golfing claims again - as hurricanes rip through the communities, not a peep except "I did brilliant at golf, me".

He is still tearing into the media and trying to limit free speech in the US - and worldwide

Stock market... still tanking this morning

Trying to find a news story where he has started to achieve any of his election promises really, but failing

Great start.

I approve of his golfing. Anything that keeps him halfway healthy and prolongs his life and time in power is ok by me. Hope he goes for a third term as well.

Being active does help your brain work better, so yes, anything to help his brain getting any worse is a good thing (but at millions of $$ through the next 4 years while he is sacking everyone, he could pick a cheaper hobby or pick up the tab himself)

I agree that Labour don't really know how to drill down into the details like the Conservatives did, but at least the thrust of it is acknowledging that China is putting up more smog than just about everyone else - and a transition to green energy isn't fools shite.

There is no way that fossil fuels burning and associated CO2 hasn't changed our climate more than all the volcanoes combined.

Chinese burning their own and Australian coal is the worst culprit, but moving transportation to battery will help too - not only with global warming but air quality too. I briefly lived and cycled in London, watching cycle couriers steal a lift by grabbing the back of a lorry and get towed up the road - I thought those guys must breathe in so much exhaust fumes.

Coal Oil and Gas made us lazy and pampered, back in the day a man had to walk to work.

The greenhouse gas theory has implications so bad that people just don't want to believe it.

We all know eventually Earth will become uninhabitale anyway when the Sun finally burns out, but burning all the coal, oil and gas looks like a good way to make the planet more f*ucked much sooner.

All because humans want luxury and comforts. I mean people who fly abroad on 2 or more foreign holidays a year - putting their own enjoyment before anything else.

The answer isn't just more nuclear - it is to get humans to enjoy life without mega consumption
