In my mind it should only ever be on roof tops, especially large supermarkets and factories and DIY stores.

Agricultural sheds too, happy if they came to an arrangement.

I have no objections in the desert for those solar collector jobbies that even work for hours after dark.

I think that's the most sensible contribution you've ever made. Ever. 👍

There is no point in your drivel sunshine. As for kids I’ve 6 ffs unless you have had your head in a bucket I’ve no idea how you me missed that. Can I foresee the future 😂😂😂😂of course I can’t you daft bugger. Would the world be a safer place under a republican administration as opposed to a democratic one 🤔yes I think it would. You need to look back at the likes of the Abraham accords etc and stop your nonsense. Off you go to China and get them told there’s a good lad, make sure you are fully vaccinated mind before arriving and take plenty of masks.

*Kerching*!

I think the whole Internet knows you've got 6 kids mucker! Straight as a nine-bob note no doubt. Anyway, have you noticed that the natural world is a very different place to how it was when we were their age? A few less insects, birds and animals about maybe, more unpredictable, extreme weather maybe?

So, that's a big phat zero then - you can't highlight anything that Trump would do that would improve the lives of children. Anywhere in the world.

Are you pining after your old COVID thread or something?

Christ 42 you been on the drink ? what crap are you spouting.
I can’t foresee the future here or over there you bloody fool.
What I suspect is that the current situations with Putin, Isreal, Iran,N Korea etc may well be different, if peace “ or a form of it “ can be established in the Middle East “ remember the Abraham Accord” then im sure that will benefit a few kids. Regards insects and homosexuals speak to those who know.

You've missed the point again sunshine. You have to start reading the words.

"The US is the second most polluting country on earth, behind China."

Maybe you don't have children, but if you did you'd appreciate that the natural world is a very different place to how it was when we were their age. Hell, you might even feel a touch of sadness. What state do you think the world will be in when they're our age? There's a Biodiversity collapse COP going on at the moment, they're discussing stuff like this.

Serious question;- can you highlight anything that Trump would do that would improve the lives of children? Anywhere in the world?

Yeah I’m well aware it’s the POTUS thread but some whining bugger seems to want to go on about emissions and climate change 🤷‍♂️ guess it went off on a little tangent as is often the way.

Quick Google 2MW is 30,000 tonnes

There was a website last night, overall lifetime CO2 emissions windfarms about 30g / kwh and gas about 200g / kwh... I have thrilling bed time reading some nights!!

The North Sea is a national asset and must be treated as such. Our offshore energy sector has...

Id suggest some on here read this  and a selection of the comments from people who actually know what they are talking about in regards UK energy. Rather than just looking up how much concrete is in an onshore wind turbine base ( everyone is different depending on the prevailing ground conditions) and presuming that’s how they are all built.

Can you describe what 'energy transition' is that the article is about? (my take is the change, transition, from an oil based electricity generation system to a renewable based system, but I might be wrong)

Summary of the article: we need to use the expertise in the oil and gas industry to create the renewable electrical generation industry. Saves everyone 15 minutes to read the article

I'm guessing 'going off on a tangent' is relevant when the question was 'given that the US generates the 2nd most CO2 emissions, what are Trumps plans for that" (I've rephrased the question in hoping that the hard of understanding get a better understanding).

My view... Trump... paid by the oil industry... will be planning to do nothing. Perhaps state issued tin foil hats if you live near a wind turbine to prevent cancers. He'll be playing playground politics of "Yes, I know it is better that way, but they are also doing bad thing, biggly bad thing, so we will do it too".. rather than striving to be the best, he'll be aiming to be 2nd worst.
