No it's not light weight, but you can not have strength and durability with out a bit of weight.

 

 

I found that out with our last tripod ladder, weighed very little but disintegrated within 3 years 👎

It weighs 27.5 kg according to paper work which came with it. It very handy Steve but not cheap but it is the best type of ladder for the work I do in a day as I have only used one like it for the last 10 years and its the only ladder I take on site.

I had a lightweight Tallman ladder from Hood River, Oregon, and it lasted about 20 yrs. under constant use. I sold it to move, and purchased another new one shortly thereafter. The old one had no noticeable defects when I sold it.
