This is a home with a shared drive and able to accept small to medium loads of untreated wood suitable for seasoning for burning in a log burner. Happy to split but no huge roots etc

  6. How is he a puppet? Who is pulling the strings? He seems to do as he pleases, when he pleases. You can criticise him, with good reason in many cases, but he is not a puppet of mysterious forces. Of course Vance is in line to be the next Potus! he’s the VP, and a popular one at that. Thats not some conspiracy, it’s common sense. You can only serve two terms so there’s zero chance of Trump going for three. The Democrats are nowhere, and have been discredited for the way they propped up a clearly failing Biden, lots of Yanks haven’t forgiven them for that. Short of something really dramatic JD is a shoo-in for 2028.
  7. Maybe, my thinking is when he was elected he was mostly all there mentally and at that would never voluntarily quit. Behind the scenes you would have to be fairly confident then that medically you can declare him unfit and then to replace him with who you want - too much of a risk I think when it has been clear for a while that a lot of people know exactly how to play Trump. Dementia isn't a straight line thing "Have these symptoms here, in 1 year you will have these", hard to predict then when his marbles will go. Physically - remember he is the president that is in the best shape, ever, doctors have never seen anything like it - but also monitored by doctors - so am not sure they would get him on physically grounds either. So I think the plan was always keep him as a puppet this term, keep Vance in the background, present but not over bearing, with hints he is 'ready to take over' then next term Vance steps in. A bit of momentum keeping him in place... but you are right, if the time comes, he will be dropped pretty quick.

    Mark Harris Home

Personal home with long driveway. Tip as far back a possible so car can still get past.
  9. same here, a bit easier than vinyl but still an actual thing you own
  10. I disagree with your last paragraph. I don't think there was ever any expectation that Dementia Don would serve another full term. He might have thought he was but those behind the scenes already had a plan.
  11. Is that a five tonner it's on?
  12. Hi folks. Just wondering if anyone knows of any crane assisted tree removal course in the uk? Cant seem to find anything but Would love to do one. TIA

Happy to take logs thank you
  14. You never said it was a bog go 12 -13 tonnes easy to find larger machines last longer easier to fix you can get forks to unload move gear around wider tracks same size buckets as 8 tonne far better reach so less moves on the bog. Chap up road did his with a 40 year old Hymac and sold it on for same money
  15. No, his hands are because he vigorously shakes hands with many people, and to a lesser extent his left hand with many Boy Scouts, didn't you get that memo? You would however expect a scar or missing bit of ear if a bullet had gone through it, especially considering the bandage he was sporting afterwards, but if he had just bashed it as he was pushed to the ground all would be OK. But that would just need a sticking plaster for about an hour, and where is the publicity in that. However they did say it went through his ear like a miracle. JD Vance indicating he is ready to take over if Trump falls ill.... (where is Vance this week, more holidays than Trump spends golfing), got to keep Trump in power this term though to keep playing him.

Tip next to my wheelie bins at the start of the driveway. Thanks!
  17. Spuddog, But a 6 to 8 tonne machine has much better reach and capacity. Somewhere in my brain remembers a 6 tonne Tracked machine as being regarded as well farm friendly, since easy to move behind even a moderate tractor, and still knacky enough for older more confined farmyards. And any wheeled digger would be less than useless, here where we live, since it is all rank, or in places, cut out peat moss, but still wibbley wibbley wibbley!
  18. Very interesting, many thanks everyone. C
  19. Agreed, the album covers were a thing. Here’s one I always loved as a teenage boy.

Please reverse up the drive if possible.
  21. I like LP cover art. In a similar way to liking books, as opposed to kindle/pdf's. That's the main driver in things for me. I'm deaf as a post, so sound quality is lost on me.
  22. I cannot understand the nostalgia thing for vinyl, CDs or, God forbid, tapes. I love just pressing a button and the music starts. I want to listen to the artist(s) not engage in some 70s retro cosplay.
  23. Strange that his hands bruise like those of an ill man in his late 70's, yet his ear seemed to regenerate like Wolverine. Saying that, people do go rapidly downhill when they get a serious illness. Maybe he's already deed. Either way there is JD Vance, Pallantir, Peter Thiel, and a whole load of ****************ery coming up.
