  1. Past hour
  2. No, I just recognise disparity in justice when I see it.
  3. Plenty of good advice above. I would replace the fuel lines and jubilee clips and go from there as it sounds like the fuel is running back into the tank over time. If that doesn't work then its diesel pump recon time IMO.
  4. A customer brought a bit of a battered 291 in a couple of weeks ago with an issue. I had a chance to look at it this week, I think he's had his moneys worth out of the clutch drum to say the least. It was a bit of a job to get he drum off as it had ripped to bits and was well and truly jammed up in the cashing and the brake band. This was the state of it. The big problem was getting the clutch off, the drum had taken the end of the worm wheel spring so tit had to come off. I usually just use an impact wrench to whizz clutches off but his time it was having none of it. I tried penetrating fluid which didn't help then tried the old piston stop and big socket bar and that didn't move it so I tried a windy gun and still nothing! The only options I thought about where to cut it off with a grinder or give it some heat. These machines are just made of plastic, plastic pump, plastic casing etc. I gave the heat a go to save the clutch but not loads of heat and it actually worked, usually you have to heat stuff up to cherry red to get them to move but I think the oil from the day before may have helped. I still had to wind the air gun up but it did pop off first spin. Not got it back together yet as we didn't have the worm wheel in stock but it should be up and running next week. If I come accross this issue again I think I will tap one of the mechanics up in the next unit for their snap on wrench.
  5. Yet more whataboutery. She was found guilty of a hate crime, encouraging racial hatred on social media, after reacting to right wing populist bullshit that turned out to be incorrect, all this on the day that the children where killed in Southport, play stupid games, win stupid prizes, I have zero sympathy for her. She is being held up as the darling victim for the right wing populist press, and you have clearly also got her in your wank bank.
  6. One of the two is harder to get spares for,i. Can't remember if its the 3 litre or 1.9. Poss the 1.9 as farrier had one and spares were hard to get and expensive also, things like the turbo and also how something like the manifold was crap Please correct me if wrong .

  8. Today
  9. She was certainly guilty of saying some vile stuff on social media. In truth probably no worse than a million things said by UK citizens on the internet every day.
  10. He went to court, but he pleaded not guilty, so it went before a jury. The jury quickly decided he was not guilty. The words he used were not in doubt, but the jury clearly accepted he wasn’t actually suggesting anyone slit anyone’s throat, even though that is what he said. Just like Lucy Connolly it should never have ended up in court.

  14. However a woodland isn't a short term thing so you probably have the time to do that. The mindless ones might flatten a few but once the rest are established the gaps can be closed over.
  15. Why not makita as I though you had the 18v batteries?
  16. You assume wrong, and your whataboutery doesn’t make her any less guilty either.

  18. I heard about Stokes’ heroics. Looking forward to watching the highlights with my boy later.
  19. not posted any, but have hundreds of the sunset out the window, some nights cannot help but take a couple
  20. And am I to assume you are OK with Ricky Jones who was a public figure not even getting a reprimand?
  21. She was a victim if her own effing stupidity and was convicted for breaking the law, inciting racial hatred by encouraging people to burn down hotels housing migrants, she is not the victim, although she is playing the victim card now all right, and she did 10 months in total.
    Great site.

  23. For chain sharpening, no problem with files except it gives me sore hands. If the chain has hit something and rolled the chrome, then blunts the file, makes it slow work. I had a cheapy Lidl one, it only managed a few chains before letting the smoke out. This should make it much faster. Milwaunkee are the only brand doing a decent quality brushless type, and its not cheap at £140 for the set, but should last forever. 24. I will, just not yet, and not full time.
  25. Come home, Mick.
  26. It is the finest way to pass a summer afternoon in the UK, either watching, playing or drinking with the team. The ladies love to come in their summer dresses look and appraise the men clad in whites and chat. Unlike the football where they hate standing on a freezing touch line watching the likes of me muddy and furiously hurling foul abuse at all and sundry. I miss it a lot.
