  2. Yes, but I doubt his 'best mate', Farage, had much to do with it. Trump changed his mind on a lot of things when he met the European leaders face to face last week. Here is another example, from being only US Soldiers on the front line in Afghanistan, British Troops were 'Great and brave' British soldiers are ‘great and brave’: Trump backtracks on Afghanistan slur UK.YAHOO.COM Donald Trump has backtracked on claims British troops stayed away from the front line in Afghanistan.

  4. Many years ago some one posted a photo showing a Cherry tree, or row of trees that were growing adjacent to a very low brick wall. The wall was about 1-2 feet tall and the tree trunks were a few inches distant from the wall. The remarkable thing was that despite verticle trunks, they had grown bulges sideways and onto the top of the wall for physical support. The tree could not see the wall but obviously knew that they were there. Can anyone recollect these please?
  5. Hi all. I’m looking at a (secure) rear canopy for my d23 Navara and found a company called Apex4wd who do a very nice looking canopy at a decent price. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company, or even the canopy itself. Would be interested on peoples opinions. cheers
  6. No indeed, but Trump has changed his tune on Chagos.

  9. Nope its the pattern / type /blade layout . Its flipping expensive so never get rid of it £40-70 new and its a heavy weight-never owned one but guess its a beast to throw around . Its a long story behind me and the knowledge I gained and know
  10. The last one in the op is the red painted one from the first picture, Bulldog brand, not sure what style they call it, the differences are so subtle. My feeling is that a painted hook will be poor but it feels nice. Not had a chance to use it.

  12. I was impressed you could say it was a bulldog brand, was it the bolt through or the tightening collar? It is very much abused!
  13. Location would be useful
  14. Looking for tree surgeons and groundsmen for new and upcoming contracts in the Glasgow area but must be willing to travel. Full time work preferred but contractors considered.

  18. At the bottom of the reply box it says choose files (underlined) press that a box will come up with three choices, the first is ‘photo library’ choose that and the rest is intuitive.
  19. Nope a brush hook, almost like a two handed bill hook , not like a hacksaw mounted onto a shaft ! Not learned how to put photos up on here yet
  20. Good webcam action. Being next to the sea during a storm is one of the most exhilarating things to do I reckon. Mind you they've had it a bit too rough in the left hand corner of the south coast these last couple of days. Storm surge plus high tides has been bad news down there. Teignmouth Pier washes away and sea wall crumbles during Storm Ingrid WWW.BBC.CO.UK Part of a historic pier washes away and a sea wall next to a railway line crumbles as Storm Ingrid lashes Devon and Cornwall. Funny thing is I was right there at new year and the sea was like glass, never seen it so calm and flat.
  21. Tory peers chimed in with a wrecking amendment
  22. Am not so sure that he has the ear of Starmer though enough to shelve the deal?
  23. I believe it’s to keep the boring insects away - not the uninteresting ones, the ones that will damage the timber 😏
  24. One thing he did in Davos apparently is meet with the Americans about Diego Garcia, which may be one reason the Chagos deal is now shelved.
  25. What is the purpose of this?
