What husky is this?

Can someone tell me what model this old husky is please.

I know it's fairly old because it has points.

Someone has nicked the petrol pipe from it so I need to get another but it looks like it should have a grommit to seal where it comes out of the tank.

Without knowing the model number it is difficult to find one.

Possibly a 180S Model Profile: 180S

That looks very similar, the only difference I can see is the handle seems to be separate and bolted on, on the 180S picture.

I am not sure, but suspect it is a 160S, if it has points.

 

Could you measure the bore of the cylinder?

 

The saw is from the early 1970s, so it surely is old.....

Yeah, pretty certain it is a 160S now - I found a picture of one and it has the one piece body and handle and also that sort of guard where the chain brake should be, its not connected to anything so I guess it was an early idea before they invented the chainbrake.

If you could show the other side as well it might be easier to identify. Is the metal handle a chain brake or is it bolted to the top handle and just a knuckle protector like on early saws ?

I found that picture as well - it is exactly the same as that one with just a hand guard sort of thing and even the tree spike is the same alloy with the worn bottom tooth.

 

I have ordered a fuel pipe for a 180 as I can't find any for the 160 and I reckon the body will be the same, just a different barrel.
