Recommendation for Petrol / Diesel Pressure washer

I'm looking for a plain cold water pressure washer (not steam cleaner) with own engine and suction option with pre-filter for sucking water from 40 gal drum etc. To be used for washing off harvester and forwarder between jobs.

Any recommendations?

Many thanks.

I'd look at Brendon Powerwashers.

If you have a Tractor perhaps a PTO version?

Nice idea but there's no way I'm taking a tractor around with me just to wash a machine! I wouldn't call a tractor "portable power" when you can chuck something in the back of the pickup.

They do all types and they're good kit.

I just use a Karcher run from a small generator as they suck from a barrel no problem and a couple of 25litre drums of water will do a surprising amount on a midi digger.

Good point, I've got a 8.5 kVa genny; that would power a leccy one; still a lot more to carry round tho... I'll contact locals Demon and see what they come up with.

if you do buy one see if it has a italian pump fitted to it. they are the best pumps out interpump one of the best. and i use a ebc tank fitted with a connector i can fit hose to other end fits to pump holds 700ltrs of water. and gives you a good pressure as a lot of head of water fits in back of pick ok and washer sits on tail gate held to tank. do a lot with it.

be suprised how much water you will go through 250 ltr drum will not last long if cleaning a combine.

heard Demon very good spire presure washers salisbury do a range

The cheapo petrol pressure washer on ebay that i bought about five years ago for £150 delivered is still going strong. Its a lot less grief than rigging up our steam cleaner if you only need to blast mud off the kit. Our guys have not managed to break it yet so they must be OK.
