External hard drive for iPhone?

In short, my memory is full and I need to free up about 4GB of memory on a 4S.

My iCloud is also full.

It's mainly photographs which I'm keen to back up.

Can anyone recommend a hard drive (wireless?) that I can dump stuff on straight from the phone WITHOUT involving a PC or Mac?

Can't download Dropbox because I don't have latest iOS software, which I can't upgrade because I haven't got enough memory! Only 2Gb free anyway.

I trust iCloud as far as I could spit.

 

Just wondered if anyone had actually used a backup hard drive.
