Yes, No problems. It seems that the problems over here are with older phones, who would have ever seen that one coming!

Egg, there is a lot to be said for being back of the times. I allow for my amusement as many owners of new tech to play the part of ginney pigs so as many if not all of the bugs are out and resolved before I spend a cent. All I am missing is the drama associated with new roll outs of tech always plagued by numerous problems. I have better things to do than to keep up with the minions.

I'd normally agree with you Ted...... If I hadn't been called out early morning, to a major problem an hour and half away from home.

Since i've been using it ( ios 9.1 ) the battery seems to last longer.

Only recently updated to Yosemite 10.10.4 Im not one for the latest OS because it can often result in non compatibility between older aplications/devices.

 

I would search the Internet to see if El Capitan works with your current phone/software etc before updating.

 

I also used CCC - Carbon Copy Cloner to take an image of the disk before updating. This is a rather nice piece of software takes a complete backup of your disk onto a USB drive, including the hidden 1Gb boot partition - something Im fairly certain that Time Machine dosnt do.
