I bought a stihl mse 220 . Plenty of power to run its 16" bar. I miss the smooth clutch you get on a petrol and there are no anti vibs which is a killer even after 20 mins. Not for hrs of logging ok a if you really must but normally pic up the ms260 instead.

I use a Stihl 220 for use in a garage, it is noisy but quieter (for the neighbours) than a petrol one outside. I put a narrower chain on it. I tried smaller/cheaper electric chainsaws but they just overheated and cut out. I don't find the vibes a problem since the vibes are chain vibes rather than engine vibes.

A cheap Titan one from Screwfix would be ok, 1 yrs warranty!
A friend of mine bought one of those for 1p under £60 and it is a very good tool. What kind of indoors are you talking ? In a garage would be o.k. but in the room next door would still be a bit intrusive.

A narrow chain probably helps with the vibes as well. I think mine came with the big 3/8 chain and a 20 in bar. The vibes from the chain are shocking there is no antivib on them at all. Beast of a saw though once you had one of these the rest feel like toys but then they are about £400
