Hi Looking for the right person to join the team. Skill set from 1 year climbing experience onwards up to fully experienced with crew leading experience. You must have a good worth ethic, a positive attitude around the work place and be keen to undertake work to the highest standards. Work will be in domestic sector and is all year round without lay offs. Saturdays also an option. Self employed preferred but full time employment an option. Salary self employed £90-£150 per day. They are now looking for a qualified Arborist/Second Climber to join their arboricultural department in Chobham. Candidates wil need to hold NPTCs 30,31,38,39 as a minimum and have a full driving licence. In return they are offering a competitive salary of up to £28,000pa based on qualifications and experience, 20 days paid leave plus bank holidays, all PPE, climbing equipment and chain saws provided.

A few pictures to introduce Epic Tree Care in Aberdeenshire. Also included some pics of our work on the Craig Leek SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest), near Braemar (Scotland). We were awarded a 5 year contract to remove, and control the re-growth of Birch trees across the cliff on top of the mountain. The limestone cliffs are habitat for an extremely rare Bryophite, a type of small moss, which is only found in one other location in the world. It’s hoped that removing the encroaching Birch trees will preserve its habitat and the wide biodiversity for future generations. Also on the same site is a rare stalked puff ball only found in 7 other places in the world. Hoping to learn and contribute to the forum. Enjoy. Any comments welcomed.

We are a small company who undertake both domestic and commercial tree and landscaping work. We are based in the Tyne Valley, Northumberland. We are looking for an experienced and qualified climber, who is capable of leading a team from time to time. A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience is preferable. The job would be on a sub-contractual basis, with a minimum of 3 days available per week. The work is varied; we undertake large tree work; pruning and dismantling, site clearance work, domestic works, small forestry contracts, tree planting etc. and garden and landscaping works. The role would be a mix of ground based and working at height. Some of our contracts require working away from the area for periods of up to one month, excluding weekends.
