Please drop at the 2nd entrance to my property on the road off the Longmoor road, approaching Old Thorns Golf Club, past the Deers Hut pub. Google pin here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/LfYiaGMzxGDtHzm18 Not on Pines Road please! that is my house access. It is the last driveway on the right, if you are heading to the Old Thorns Golf Club. You will see a curved driveway, with bamboo plants and a wooden slatted sliding gate with two red brick piers. There is also a small black sign saying 'Moorside' at the kerbside. You can drop on the drive way as near to the gate as possible. Many thanks!

Hi, I have around 25-30 m3 of mainly douglas fir and a small amount of leylandii. It is 2 years seasoned in an open barn and is nearly all sub 15% mc. Diameter mainly 20-30cm, originally bought to make kindling. Maximum length about 5m. Excellent access directly off farmyard. Buyer collects and no help available to load, but you would be able to work on site if you need to, for instance, cut to shorter lengths. Offers please for the whole lot as need to free up the barn for other uses. Thanks.

Hi I'm looking for a a part-time forestry worker to work in connection with an estate management contract on the Hussey Estate, Lamberhurst, Kent. Work will be varied and will also include general estate duties. Pay will be dependant on experience. NPTC chainsaw and felling qualifications essential, plus experience with machinery. Other qualifications (Towing licence, CS 38,39 etc) a real advantage. The right person will also be working on other contracts with Discover Trees, where the work will include; tree surgery, forestry and agricultural fencing. Evening all...... Went down to pick some bits up from my (shared) yard in Shipley, W Sussex at 8:30 on Sun night. Found my faithful old Transit gone, office and workshop broken into and Daihatsu Fourtrak 4x4 with knackered locks and steering column, hand tools and other bits gone off with the Transit. Other vehicles and buildings broken into. The other firm I share with had been in at 5pm and nothing was out of place so we can only assume that we had visitors who were in and out across the fields very quickly. The frost helped them get the truck out through the woods and fields to the road about 1/2 mile away without disturbing the front gates. Transit's number is K926 MOU..... Distinctive two tone colour scheme and very distinctive Atlas crane behind cab. Ex Bristol Water with approx 75k miles on the clock. All credit to Sussex Police, uniformed officers were straight out and on the case.... Please send a PM if you spot anything, bearing in mind the truck could now be off to be used in robbing other people.
