This is for community and allotment useage. There is a good tipping site by the allotments however please try to keep the pathway clear of wood . You can tip next to the end allotment. .. we can accept wood chips and green wood chips for mulching....

Hi, I am doing some research for a project and would like to ask what you guys do with all the brush and logs after you've felled a tree. For the brush I'd assume most people would chip it and tip it, but the question remains: where? Do you keep it and sell it? Or do you pay to dispose of it? If so how much are you paying OR getting paid? Any and all answers welcome 🙂 Thank you

Catherine Junior School is based just off The Golden Mile / Melton Road. We are looking for free logs and wood chippings to help create a forest school. Access can be arranged by telephoning our Premises Officer beforehand.

Black Country Aggregates are based in Wednesbury just off off junction 9 of M6. We are Now accepting fine Wood chippings and bark. Simply call in, wait to be directed to correct bay, tip off and leave. If you need a receipt to say you have disposed of the chippings properly that's no problem

Hi there, we are a nursery based in Kegworth. We have a large outdoors area with a forest school. We are in almost constant need of bark/chippings to bark our paths and outdoor areas. Plenty of room for logs and woodchips. Some brash if it is clean and of reasonable quality. Hardwood logs and woodchippings greatly appreciated and I am prepared to provide some financial recompense (please call to discuss) as I know the address is slightly out of the way for most. Hay and straw also welcome. Can drop in the areas photographed below (the van will not usually be pulled forward in that position, especially if noone is here) but would prefer contact first. I will move the items once dropped.
