Hello everyone! We recently employed a climber who found my previous advert on Arbtalk, he's still here, and he doesn't look too miserable at all. He almost seems chirpy. I now need a trainee climber or groundsman to work with him, we WILL train you if you prove yourself and we think you won't immediately leave, this is not an empty promise. We're a pretty relaxed company undertaking all aspects of tree work, we just want to continue doing good work without any shouty bosses and such like. Microbee is a small company at the moment with a good amount of work. I'm looking forward to hiring a genuinely conscientious individual who wants an environment to grow into a good arborist. I look forward to hearing from you! Please send CV's to [email protected] or call 0208 540 9968. Cheers, Tom.

Hi I am taking down 2 large planes trees and 2 not so large lime trees this sunday. Does any body want to purchase, at a very reasonable rate, this timber? The butt of the larger plane is big, not tall (15') 2+tonnes, perhaps someone would want to mill it. There is a lot of straight stems in the planes. We have a crane on sunday so could stack straight onto a truck. Need site cleared that day. Any questions, please talk to me very soon. Adam 07779352664

I was walking was down an alley in west london and I saw what I thought was a turd, but it was stuck to the wall... then I took a closer look, as you do, and I couldn't believe my eyes... are they what I think they are?

Hi All, Hope I find you all well after a stunning weekend (weather wise) A landscaper friend of mine asked me to supply a patio floor made out of rings of wood for the end of May. He is looking to cover 30m sq and looking at the discs being around 4" deep and diameter of around 10" ish. I was thinking that I don't really have those sort of regular bits of timber and nor have the time or space to store this kind of timber. Does anyone want to supply this. PM me and I shall get you in contact with him. The job would be in west london - near the north circular. It maybe worth it to travel seeing as it's such a large amount of wood.

I am looking for a climber who can be given a worksheet and go out and do a good, reliable job! We drive vehicles that don't need pre-98. I will always try and give you everything you need and keep you happy. I cannot eradicate road rage for example, but I will buy you some fluffy dice. We are a young company and everything is going pretty well, we simply aim to be a good company and share in its success. I basically need a climbing machine who will happily go out and do 5 reductions in a week, OR go out and do 5 fells in a week. We naturally have a lot of driving because we are Londonwide, so the intensity of climbing is lower than on a council contract or local firm. We have a quarterly bonus scheme linked to company profit which has exceeded £1000 after tax, but we all have to work to capacity for it. We are expanding and growing, we pride ourselves on being friendly and RELIABLE, I do not want a jobsworth or a shirker, nothing drives me more crazy than someone doing as little as possible. I need someone motivated, and not someone who has just put 'motivated' on their CV Please call me, Tom, on 0208 540 9968 or send your CV to [email protected]

Self employed arborist/climber/groundsman wanted in Putney, London Hardy Tree Surgeons is a small highly professional tree surgery business based in Putney, London which has been in business for over 12 years. We provide a high quality service mostly for private clients in South West and Central London. We pride ourselves on having excellent customer relations, being extremely careful whilst carrying out all jobs and leaving sites cleaner than when we arrived. I currently require a climber/groundsman to work directly with me (ideally sharing some of the climbing) for ~4 days/week initially but with scope to increase this to 5 days/week in the future and to work as part of a larger team on bigger jobs. (I am out pricing up jobs on fridays and ideally the applicant will want to do some of their own private work to fill the week). There may also be an opportunity to take over the buisness within 1 to 3 years and to develop it further or take on a managerial role with on-going support. Applicants will need to hold all relevant NPTC certificates Pay is dependant on experience and starts from £85/£120 per day ~ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday Vacancy arisen due to current climber/groundsman leaving to travel around the world Needed from 26th April 2010 however there will be the opportunity for some work before this date Contact: Jonathan Hardy Buckingham Email: [email protected] Address: Hardy Tree Surgeons Putney, London, SW15 3DF Office: 020 87888853 Mobile: 07771898887

Hi All We are still looking for a climber to work in London. They would need to be able to do crown reductions and hold the relevant nptc qualifications. 2-3 years experience in the industry and 1 year climbing would be an advantage. You don't have to have a driving licence. We have work through to February next year, with more in the pipeline, but need to start getting on top of it asap. Please reply to me if you are interested.
