  1. The 2.4 engines are poor so don't get burned on it. They are easy to work on,the injectors get very tight but do come out. Fuel pumps do 60k miles and the engines spit cranks out if remapped. Remapping them makes them bloody quick if you derestrict the max limiter. There rapid units in defenders running like that but do like alot of oil Don't bother just doing a couple of the injectors replace all of them , you do need to recode them so will need a flaptop to plug in. Then off you go with 300 bhp
  2. Those would be ideal for foot locking. Perfect for jamming your feet up in a tree to obtain a static point to cut from.🤠
  3. Wacking in RSJ for slotting sleepers into. I cut the steel ends into spikes with the gas axe then smash them in making up retainers with timber slotted in. Also put them in as gate posts for cattle. It's ok cutting spikes on them but trying to smash em in without is hard going. Just wondering if the digger Wacker would push em in around duck ponds etc to make points for shooting from.....
  4. Brilliant. Some people just can't help themselves with the lust for being wanted.... Obviously the best are talked about so here you are scbk rub yourself here....😴
  5. Yeah I get the point for access . Like insaid what are they like on hard rocky ground? Do you reckon they will punch in steel posts?
  6. Can be a bsturd to get injectors out. Common problem tho. No the most reliable engines ,they do go pop so just check the oil condition and make sure the turbo is dry on the outside. Injector refit and bits can cost big bucks for someone putting it in a garage....
  7. Well this is funny How many of you have even used a ladder?
  8. https://www.hi-line.co.uk/utilities/
  9. Rob em.
  10. Cool. I would be interested to know how much the digger moves away on the wack . I get the tractor bouncing off big posts in hard ground.
  11. Definitely a scam. Have you ever heard of a car insurance company paying out what a car is worth ?
  12. Yep. I own a couple of pairs of boots too.
  13. This is funny. I don't have a mortgage. Own a 4x4 and a car . Have no debt or any credit. Work most days of the week and can go buy a saw in the morning if I want to. Not being sucked into business and insurance scammers and always pricing cheaper than everyone else hasn't done me any harm but yet all these businesses that try to be cheap go bust.... Then you all moan about it because your private information is sold on and the kit you sent in for repair is missing. It's all going tits up people face it forwards ......
  14. Done large take downs on school grounds without pupils present because I don't pay for insurance. I was the cheapest price and they paid me. I suppose you take out insurance incase it rains when you are on holiday ? Anyway it's all a scam to take unnecessary money out of the struggling economy.
  15. Fair enough but if you want to continue getting a new back hole ripped daily by the insurance companies carry on that way, they are winning hand over saw all the time . The industry can regect this ,survive and move forward to much cheaper insurance and other things which eniveteably will sustain employment far beyond what is on the horizon at the moment.
  16. No but it will now become a standard thing in the industry. I doubt there will be anymore play nicely "let's set the prices boys " Yeah getting a fair pay for work is ok but it won't wash with this continuous drain .
  17. Having run both hydraulic and PTO along with electric powered winches a quick cheap fix for this would be a used tipper pump from the scrappy and a couple of pipes made up. Mount the pump somewhere and try it.
  18. Yep,each to their own. Payment to insurance companies is a BIG scam and getting worse. Perhaps when you next price a job offer a 30 % reduction on the basis of no insurance and no comeback.... You might be surprised how much work you still get. As for council contract bashing and utilities trimming leave it for the stupid...
  19. Do these have enough weight in them or does the Wacker bounce the digger? I've seen these around but not sure however look good for gardens and rubbish access. Currently using a suma on a 7495 which is pretty big and cumbersome.
  20. A waiver for a job condition is not unfair so long as negligence is performed by the customer... Like walking out under a falling branch without looking.. So yes a waiver is legal
  21. Industry decline, cut throat job pricing and people generally trying to DIY tree work.. Keep up.
  22. Lol that's funny but you will see soon enough.
  23. Personally I think customers are buying there own equipment more and more now so other than stupid sketchy dismantling over houses and orangeries is about the only manual ARB work about at the moment. It's highly likely that the big dealers who cover very large areas will feel the shut down adding to the pockets of the local agri dealers Joe public uses. I am seeing more and more people out doing there stuff with cheap power tools every day.
  24. Day rate or piece work?
  25. Waiver is a legal document
