  1. Love you all ….see you soon on Ukrainian battle field!
  2. Why they never show off those new thing in 100 years old bushy conifer , nice good macrocarpa with 500 limbs😂
  3. Ropes ,knots ,pulleys, carabiners all I need all those gimmicks is a trash for me , the main thing is when you use same technique for 10 years it’s becoming a n extra hand, don’t see point to change anything , plus things you can do with prussik just impossible with all those metal things ,but as a toy it’s ok!
  4. My bad ,sense of humour is sliding today 🤣
  5. 4 years ago I did pruning on ash with die back ,I just cut only branches badly affected and dead wood ,the tree still standing and look very well as I drive past it every second day ,so I can confirm some of the species can probably survive, sadly not many of them! But from now I will recommend to customers not to rush in to the removal, if tree looking more or less ok and they ready to have small financial risk to prune it correctly .
  6. It’s wrong the ratio will stay the same 25to1! Or that was a joke??????😂
  7. I giving all timber for free if somebody collecting from site , and it’s always cut to 25cm logs, some old people get it delivered for free if they proof to be not wealthy, f….img donation to Gold course, I just can’t believe it ……….
  8. Donation to the golf club😤, what’s that about they must pay you for that or at least they must give something to charity of choice, ….. f hell where is the world going, golf course asking for donation 👹 burn them all!
  9. Well said but take too many words 😵‍💫My English not that good. I use MAGA ENGLISH !
  10. I wanted to see how resilient he are , it’s important in manual labour sector, in my opinion, so he proofed he is , that increases his chances to find what he looking for. We all seen some snow flakes flying around , most of them never comeback there cause they had no chance! I am from military background as well , after Army usually two thing to consider You are to bossy or not initiative enough , both things can have negative impact , at least it was my problem ….. still is!
  11. I said I am afraid ! It is not confirmation. Did you was in school Stubby? No insult but it’s basic thing in any language!
  12. So did I said that he IS bad or from bad back ground?
  13. Read my comment again please!
  14. But straight forward ,I know u westerners not understand that, it’s ok .Actually Harry reacted very well on my post , he just answered no fuss , no snots ,no cry , it’s probably Army training and a proper hard man 🫡
  15. Seems a good potential employee, for arb sector , just keep trying I would say, take any job at first , build connections and so on , sometimes it’s take longer than we want! Go in rail if you have a chance it is actually good experience, and at same time keep looking for other options !
  16. I am afraid you not good enough,or from a wrong background, how old are you?
  17. Thats ..... hmmmmm..... splitter come from Russia ,i seen this thing when i was 6 or 7, i remember the funerals with closed coffin as well!
  18. You actually should get paid for collecting that in current situation when wind blown is everywhere, it is not a joke. I reducing my price if allowed to leave timber on site! So it’s must be free to go , and no more the 5 km long distance!
  19. It is only good for detail work in small very tidy gardens, with lots of patio decks and stone combination . I hade Tanaka and Echo before, this Stihl is best of all of them as a vacuum, don’t expect too much and you will be not disappointed, in practice you can get away without one . I do maintenance landscaping 50% of my work time for 25 years 😉
  20. I smell Nazi snob 😤
  21. I would say hedge reduction is never easy, I am 49 ,can confirm that it’s time not to waste energy for small money 🤩, of course body going older I recommend bodybuilding once per week it will help it sounds strange but it is working , do not overuse anti inflammatory medication have contrast shower instead , sometimes of course a bit of doping is needed !
  22. Absolutely agree with this even ****************ing 6 lads could drag that ting down ,I did it with much bigger trees alone no winch just pulleys just 4 pulleys !
  23. Is legal aid in this case free in Great Britain?
  24. And one more thing I’m against ,is the cameras on difficult jobs , it is no less distracting as phone when you behind the wheel, it will affect your critical thinking that 100% .
  25. I’m afraid there was nothing done right in this situation , he just go at it , and no one stop him , I still wanted to understand what he wanted to achieve there , is there was a plan to rig anything (which is to me was impossible with no crane, even with one is dodge I would say) ,or everything should just drop on the road (then what was the reason to climb on it , just cut at the bottom and drag it in any suitable direction ?) at least maybe climb opposite tree and cut holding branches slowly to let wind blown go ( I don’t like this as well) ! The thing : is I don’t even see anything worth saving with that risk! I can’t believe that there is was lack of funding either! Main question is still who is the manager of all that ,it obviously wasn’t a climber , so I blame manager for this messy situation . My ground person saved me more than few times from stupid mistakes, as sometimes just simple question ARE YOU SURE , will save you and what we see there shiny new clothes, mobile phones on hand , and so on! Climber was obviously doing wrong things, and no one stop him, so that mean people on the ground was not qualified for this work, I just see massive compensation coming to help the lad to recover! Maybe climber can discuss that on this forum , so we all learn something new on his accident. Or if investigators report posted there so we can read it. It my safe someone in the future.
