  1. To the person who stole my anti depressant tablets… I hope you’re happy now
  2. Intervention as one in four school starters in nappies WWW.BBC.CO.UK A charity says it wants to help families struggling with toilet training ahead of September. We are doomed , wtf is going on in this country...25% of all parents are now too lazy to do the basics of parenting...I would have put a 1 in 10 figure on it but this is shocking.
  3. Thanks, I appreciate the positive feed back ...I am no where near professional tho or even any way close . 20 years ago I carved another thing whilst staying home after work saving money so I could get on the property ladder(I will have to find a pic of that one)...and then 10 years ago whilst recovering from an operation and having time on my hands I carved the one in the pic...not carved anything else ...Loved creating both pieces , I just wish I could make money out of it and do more.
  4. Magic Mushrooms have had amazing results under clinical trials, Magic-mushroom drug can treat severe depression, trial suggests WWW.BBC.CO.UK In a trial, 25mg of psilocybin put patients in a dreamlike state, making therapy more likely to succeed.
  5. Carved from pallet wood...just wanted to try carving and its the only wood I could get at the time.
  6. Cheers , not cooked on it yet but had a fire once just to test it.
  7. I have finally finished my Shed (or Hobbit House if you want loads of views on what ever), its taken at least 2 years what with me being a tight git and not wanting to spend anything, and a few slipped discs don`t help either . Stone all free from neighbours gardens and allotments, building sites ,my daughters school when they had an extension built ect The wood inside and out free from a donated flood damaged oak floor, timber frame 4/4 posts from heavy duty pallets found at local scrap yard, Door hinges and knocker found in a skip . The only cost you can see in the pics was the turf , door handle, perspecs for the windows and the half logs on the roof. Even got the flags delivered for £175 because the company messed up. Trellis thing is pallet wood.

    Head lice

Tea Tree Oil shampoo can be cheap and effective.
  9. other than a few daffs theres not much spring going on but i do feel it coming.
  10. My 4 year old nephew can’t even say please in Spanish I mean come on, that’s poor for 4 .
  11. Cash=`s freedom...even shopping for the Mrs at xmas with my joint account debit card she gets to see what I have spent and where and then can guess what I got her...and then you have the threats of power cuts not so many years ago which would make everyone skint until the powers back on if we just had cards....and as well, bigger than all of that... it was not that many years ago we had the riots and the Gov said after that we was only 2 days away from martial law. I think we should all stash some cash if we can, things are never stable enough to go cashless.
  12. Logs at 250 a Kg , 2.4m length of 3/2 weight according to B&Q website is 2.8Kg priced at £3.47....so for a tenner you can have 4Kg of logs or for a little over a tenner 8.4Kg of 3/2 .
  13. I have the same Oak flooring, it was given to me as flood damaged ..anyway,I have used about 60 square meters of the stuff in various projects over the last few years and have always found it a bastard to sand back to wood ,sand paper discs gets clogged up easily and its time consuming and expensive...I found the best most quickest and cheapest way is to use a Flap disc on an angle grinder ..it will be a rough job but its worth it as its hassle free and cheap as 1 disc does the lot.
  14. Woodnet web site used to have ads of people selling lorry loads of wood.
  15. Its prob about GDPR laws in that any business or organisation needs to let you know that they are gathering data on you so that you can have that data if need be...GDPR does not apply to members of the public who film and that is why no need to tell anyone that you are recording ect.
