Morning all. The festive malaise seems to have lifted here. Slept better, woke early, just feeling better in general, nice. Helping a mate cut firewood today, he's acquired some larger diameter softwood to add to the seasoning stacks so bigger saw required. I'll expect to be taken to the cafe first if it's open. Morning all. Yes, slept in too. Although I'm managing to balance the holiday boredom a bit better with some regular yard chores. I've had a companion which is nice, bit of company, keeps an eye on whatever I'm doing, ever hopeful that I'll move some timber. We have an unspoken agreement, after each grab I move I'll pause to allow inspection, then they move aside again to let me move another... Have a good one folks.

Morning all. Last day at work officially. Although I may go in the odd day during the break to get some yard projects finished, technically it's the last day! Should be a quiet one, only 3 of us in, plan to finish dismantling a pole from Friday then a couple of Lime prunes so hopefully the guys will get an early finish and I can move all our important little thing to an undisclosed location in the hope of not having it all stolen like last year.
