  1. A question that i have often wondered reading various posts over the years, I know one of the oldest climbers on here is Mr Dempsey (62 years young) I remember steve bullman saying by the time he hit 42 his body was knackered. What have others done once they are unable to climb any longer job wise. Some train up younger guys and step back and run the business but not everyone is in that position.

  6. I went for an emergency visit to my Gp today mark and she doubled my medication. She also gave me 2 weeks of Diazepam in case i have a really bad day those take the edge off stop the silly thoughts. This came out of the blue around 6 weeks ago i have been fine for the last 10 years believe it or not. Cheers for the support lads 👍

  12. When i think back 21 year's ago when we had the twins I was knackered all the time as I had my son and the wife had my daughter in seperate bedrooms so they didn't keep waking each other up. Mr daughter had a cry like someone scrapped a blackboard with their nails, gives me the shivers now 😆

  17. Something I've battled with all my life unfortunately. I hadn't had a drink for a month up until Tuesday this week I just had to do something to try and lift my frame of mind yet you feel worse after it.
  18. Merry christmas to you all guys i think i can say that now we are 3 weeks away. I wanted to share this as been getting so down lately and chin wagging on here is always fun, I know eggs suffers a lot with depression and i have looked for the thread but nothing comes up on my search. The last couple of months i have been getting horrendous days even thinking about doing silly stuff. No matter how hard i try it will not shift and consumes my thoughts. I went to see my Gp a month ago and she put me on some happy pills but they do not seem to kick in as yet. I just felt the need to share it as we suffer in silence and try to be strong.
