Take some good advise of a 30 years + carpenter/joiner steve and give erbauer a miss ane go for the Einhell range from tool station I use them flat out day in day out and will piss all over most dewalt stuff,The lads in work cannot believe how good they are and really good on price

Andy did you manage with the bed after as looked this morning and have loads of seasoned oak if you need some slats for the bed,Can run them through my plainer and sander and post em up.Not a lot for those postage

That is very close to african walnet which is used for most of the big carvings you see on the market,Its listed as mayan which means is rain forest sourced so will be a cheaper mass produced set,Should still make £350/£400 as a set though steve as it looks is super condition

To router a slab of any size is so time consuming though.

Real good blade you should be getting a real good cut and a good belt sander would be quicker and a far better job finishing off a nice slab.

Very easy to make up router jigs of any kind,I use plywood a lot or mdf when making one off stairs,What is it you lads would be looking to router into the slabs ???

I am on various satellite and woodworking forums and moderate on a couple and seems to work well,Joinery and carpentry are a very popular subject with the lads on here,And others i must add.

Just wondering guys what are your thoughts on having a dedicated carpentry and joinery section,I know we have a woodcraft section but all the posts on woodworking are just one big list,Seems since a lot of the lads are trade guys as well as tree surgeon/groundies so might be nice to have,Been quite a lot of postings recently on things being made so be good to have sub sections to.Just a thought as i am on various forums and if it sounds like a good idea we can ask steve ??? ??

The smaller ones no but most woodmizers i have seen are in the larger range,I have used the LT 40 and the thing is just an animal,Diesel power engine and will cut big stuff.Operator speed makes a big difference to.Had yours a while now so should be pretty quick at it,Did you get the trailer after mate ???

I do not have a woodmizer andy but they are just a far superior saw on speed and most have hydraulic loading and self cutting operation

I charge £30 an hour but customers bring timber to me,A woodmizer is a different beast so can produce a lot more timber in a day,Ready does depend on what area you live and every job is different.
