  1. I have milled with mine with a 36" GB bar and works well and as mentioned for a backup saw its ok.
  2. Still in kit form but you can get fully built ones to. I have one as a backup saw and runs sweat as a nut to be fair.
  3. Run it at 25-1 as mentioned.Will smoke a bit but for a cheap saw will get the job done.

  13. We have a massive road building project ongoing local and has been for the last 8 years so been a surplus about,Quite a few wagon lads drink in the one pub on a friday and always looking for a back hander.

I have the same model as steve posted but a 3 phase version.I bought a titan TTB579PLN 204mm from screwfix about 2 years ago and its come down in price now around £160 and to be honest its not used a lot but finish is excellent on oak.Only thing that seems to go is the drive belts but i would buy another in a shot.
  16. Most people would and used plannings months old with pack down and bind nice in warm weather.Just get some dicks who know better.
  17. Spot on eggs and guys around here use them all the time.When rolled and compacted they go like iron but what do i know. Its a farm track for gods sake.
  18. 2 places within 10 miles from me deliver 20 ton for £300 fully certified so who is in the dark ages.
  19. A good way of doing that at a fraction of the cost if you can find someone who is resurfacing a road close by.Reuse the tarmac plannings being stripped .Perfect for a job like that.
  20. What sort of things do you make for the craft fares mark.
  21. Mark says he does a lot of craft fares/shows and this brings in a lot of work and can generate 6 months income for some firms/people.Got a mate who does the royal welsh and even though its expensive its very worth while.No show this year and he is quiet.
