  1. Looking back Gareth, the quote is "Funny how you lot are quiet about the recent space rescue."... and the among th reasons no one thought to mention it is that they were just doing their job, and it wasn't powered by Trump. Though NASA is a government agency, its day to day running is not in his remit and commercial decisions are their call. Anyway, Thanks Wrightbus, they got me to work, and back yesterday. Just thought while we are name checking things that did their job I'd thank my transport yesterday.
  2. ahh, yes, Elon Musk and his spaceship. All done for free and altruistic reasons?... err no... all done as a normal part of their business.. and for financial reward... and you want us to stand up and say Thank You for doing your job? Compare that to the recent discussions about The Potus Trump, where frankly, he isn't doing his job well and is highlighted.
  3. I've not read the reports yet to be honest
  4. No, he isn't surprised at it being declassified... that action though has prompted him to speak his thoughts on Trumps performance
  5. Yes, they have which is what prompted his grandson to air a few thoughts I think. Proper dissatisfied with the current president. I wouldn't be surprised if they were not declassifying -everything- though
  6. But on topic, I see that JFKs grandson is ripping into The Trump today for wiping out all his grandfathers works
  7. Just wondering the relevance to Trump and the tools that Peds is playing with. Present company can take any offence at that that they want.
  8. What old 'sore-foot-sign-the-note-else-your-evicted' Trump has a back bone? Wow.
  9. Are they going up an unlined or a lined chimney? The ones I just saw on Toolstation quotes a 400mm sweeps brush? That set? Lined chimney - the liner will be 6" / 150mm and you will struggle to get that in there. With a chimney stove I'd prefer a more flexible rod than standard drain rod types - in mine I have about 35cm at the base for the rod to make a 90 degree bend to go up the chimney - too tight for 'drain' rods, with no allowance at the chimney liner - 6" brush into a 6" hole doesn't have a lot of wriggle room. Open fire with an unlined chimney the bending radius is OK for a 'drain rod' - I think upstairs I have about 1m to bend it the full 90 degrees. As for the actual brush, a smaller middle will let it makes the bends up the chimney easier. Mine has a dog-leg at first floor level to get around, got to account for what goes on up the chimney
  10. Of course, it wasn't her that he raped was it.
  11. So Trump is bang on form here, welcoming a rapist into the White house. All the rapists and abusers he surrounds himself with, I'd keep a count but I've run out of fingers. Almost like he sees nothing wrong with abusing and raping women and children. Morally deficient. White House Celebrates St. Paddy’s Day With Fighter Found Guilty of Civil Rape UK.YAHOO.COM “We couldn’t think of a better guest to have with us on St. Patrick’s Day,” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said of Conor McGregor
  12. So is there a recession looming in the US? With all Trumps financial acumen and all?
  13. Not sure where you are going equating price drops to selling things at a price increase
  14. Shall we wait and see about the food prices to fall below the level when he took charge, as he promised they would (immediate drop in food prices), or shall we just wait till he comes out at the end of the summer "Only kidding, I didn't actually mean that"
  15. Food prices are still rising in the US, doubt they will drop to levels below when he was inaugurated. Energy supplies (particularly Electrical supplies) look to be risky while he is annoying the Canadians. As for what I do for a living... as a hint, I am not the President of the US... so I cannot see it's relevance. I'll let you know when I am elected as king of the world though. Edity. However what I do aligns with my morals and values. Wouldn't it be embarrassing and humiliating though to work in an industry that you fundamentally think is wrong, take the shiny shillings from a ludicrous industry. Not sure I could live with that amount of hypocrisy.
  16. Ahhh, a distraction, you cannot find any thing that Trumpy has done yet that is good so it is an attempted personal attack. OK. You were doing so well avoiding doing that recently too.
  17. And related to POTUS, and your pal, Trumpy? Good news, he has sacked the junior workers. Yup, throw the youth onto the scrap heap for future generations to fix.
  18. ... go on then.... name one... and I bet you are going to say 'sacking all the low paid junior workers'
  19. Code talkers - because they didn't have a written language their 'code' was impossible to crack. More history re-written so that the white man is the superior race. Of course, there are no parallels to any history there.
  20. 'morning Gareth, Pertinent to this thread though, The Trump is a doom spiral - think I said the other afternoon that I haven't seen any good news stories about him for a few weeks, doesn't need much searching to get the negative stories, they are all over the news!
  21. don't know if it is a paranoia you suffer from that the world is against just you, a vanity that you think you are the centre of the universe, a desperate craving for attention that you look for it anywhere, or just straight up trolling... but an imaginary group of "ATL" chatting in the background to work against you? Seriously? You need to get doing some thinking and perhaps get some help there.
  22. I've asked them if they can count its rings
  23. would something like google or bing maps give enough resolution to work out if they are leaning more - I think with google there is a way to go back in time with the images - might have to look at the street view images to get the best pictures
  24. Ooooh, bigly angry much today? That bear in your head too growly?
  25. Get your message consistent there, in one post wind farms are bad, and wind farms are great. OR.... Windfarms are all bad and your hypocrisy is running red hot just now for taking the money. £2500 in the pocket this week.
