  1. Not sure, I am still learning 😢 But it is like this MCCULLOCH MAC CAT 318 335 436 440 441 IGNITION COIL SEE LISTING FOR MODELS | eBay
  2. How to test coil pack and where you look for spark. If it is coil pack would it run nicely on half throttle but not idle.
  3. Having problem with my saw MAC 838 38 cc saw. The saw will start easily, and rev nicely while throttle leaver is half way out but it wouldn't idle , it will rev up and respond nicely without hesitation to my finger on the throttle but will die suddenly with full throttle. I had the saw from new and never changed factory carb setting. I have checked and changed fuel line, fuel filter, air filter, cleaned the carb which was already clean and rebuild the carb with service kit also changed spark plug. I have also tried to run the saw with fuel cap off in case vent hole is blocked. I have Pulled the muffler and piston looked fine, checked compression and it is 155. Any suggestion.

  10. Anybody got Stihl 076 rear Handel shroud in a good condition for sale.
  11. Thank you. Found this video which made it look very easy. Wonder if the Green UK copy is fine.
  12. After googling ''Dandelion'' I totally agree 😂😂😂
  13. That's why I have advised about trail camera. I saw this hole in our wood, actually I was walking in our wood and fell badly after my foot went inside the hole all the way to the middle of my thigh, I injured my right knee ligament which still hurt. I thought it is a Fox but trail camera showed two adult badgers living there.
  14. So would you say this is a fox or a badger. I know the answer from my trail camera.
  15. Trail camera will be the only way to convince the ecologist.
  16. Anybody used such beam maker, I do have Alaskan mill But like the simplicity of this, if I does work, for some beams and post for outdoor building project. I also like the fact that I can just use it with my 50cc saw just to cut 4x4 posts out of small tree.
  17. :confused1:I thinks it is a chainsaw
  18. Thanks all, yes I have used it for good 20 minutes and it was very warm, cut few logs with it. Not as fast cutting as my smaller saws but I guess this is normal. Even when saw was hot it will start only with half throttle on and will not stay idle. As Alec said it was the wire trapped under the base and worked only when I took it off and put it back.
  19. The Genius got it right. It is the throttle lock, for some reason was not working. I thought I have checked it and it was fine but then I have checked again and despite the cable move it was not doing anything then it sorted it self out. Once throttle worked I was able to run the saw easily. I guess still some carb adjustment needed. Saw Rev up very good and engine sounded strong and fine with no smoke. When saw started with throttle lock the chain will run, when saw idle the chain will not run but the saw will idle only for 2-3 second and then will die. I guess carb need some adjustment but this Is not a problem. Thanks for every body who helped me out.
  20. I have got it running but only temporarily. Ok I have tried new spark plug and it made no difference I have checked air filter and it is clean I have tried without the air filter and no difference Throttle lock seem to be working fine The only way I mange to run it was Drain the whole fuel from fuel tank and cylinder and left it over night Put a tea spoonful of fuel mix directly in spark plug whole Spin it couple of time to distribute the fuel Put the spark plug back and pull the cord chock off and throttle lock on It did cough twice and run with the third pull Was steady and lasted for 8 seconds or so but it will not rev then stopped. Not sure of it is suppose to rav woth such little fuel. Pulled the cord again and it will run with first pull this happen 3-4 times. But it will not accelerate at all. Put fuel in the tank and it run again for 5 seconds but will not rev. Then back to square one as it stopped and couple of more pull and flooded again and plug is wet. Funny enough it did not kick back at all during the above trial. I guess this telling me that compression is good, and flywheel key is fine. I am trying to see of I can get it to work or at least diagnose the problem without taking it a part as if it will not work I am going to return it un touched to the seller.
  21. Bought it on ebay, just under £300, looks clean, seller has over 1000 positive feedback with no single negative one, I have contacted seller prior to buy and he said it is in excellent working order. I didn't fiddle with anything and prefer to return if it doesn't work.
