  1. For every woman in a bikinis you see there’s two crackheads sheeting on the corner. Without a doubt one of the most depressing and fake place I’ve been to in the US.
  2. So we need to get back to Drilling in the U.K. then.
  3. I did not mean to come across as overly factious. I assume from your initial post you question what I wrote based on my stance on not supporting the forced uptake of an experimental vaccine for what was and essentially the common cold. And you’d somewhat have a point. But the rushed through and untested Covid Vaccines could have potentially benefitted the elderly and infirm. With Covid, like the cold, having a higher chance of killing people in these categories the risk/reward for taking the experimental vaccine could put the odds in favour of taking the vaccine. Hindsight has shown that to be a load of bollox as the vaccines and the boosters are all but useless. But at the time we did not know that. What we did know at the time was the vast majority of the population did not need to risk their health and far longer life expectancy taking an experimental vaccine to counter a “pandemic” with a greater than 99% survival chance. So yes, the bloated EU severely hindered the roll out of these vaccines to the vulnerable who at the time looked like they could have done with them asap. The U.K. on the other hand was no longer under such restrictions and could move at a far faster pace and get vaccines out ti the vulnerable in a very swift time frame potentially saving countless lives. What I clearly do not agree with was after all the vulnerable where administrated the vaccine they imposed it on virtually everyone. But say a genuine pandemic comes along like the Spanish Flu with a mortality rate in the 20-40% bracket, or even higher. The risk/reward for someone young, fit and healthy taking an untested and experimental vaccine would make far more sense. I’d most likely be at the front of the line given half a chance. And in line with my initial post regarding being outside of the EU and in the U.K. would mean that I’d most likely get that vaccine long before the EU had finished dithering.
  4. But it’s an important distinction many fall into the trap of not making. Not wishing to have one particular vaccine forced on them does not make someone anti-vaxx. So yes, to answer your question I’m pro-vaccine.
  5. When have I never been pro-vaccine? I have had loads and loads of vaccines, more than most on this forum I’ll assume. My wife and children have had loads of vaccines as well.
  6. It’s all smoke and mirrors. The EU was repeatedly warned they were making a deal with the Devil and told not to rely on Russia for energy and the EU just laughed. Well, they’re not laughing now are they? The EU has blood on its hands, it is literally bankrolling civilian deaths in Ukraine. LPG contracts with Russia worth billions to keep the lights on in the EU? It’s little wonder those that mourn the U.K. leaving the EU turn a blind eye to this. Not to mention the potentially huge loss of life with the EU’s disastrous Covid Vaccine Roll out due to their pathetic bureaucracy. We can add these two points to the significant reasons and benefits of leaving the EU.
  7. Another good reason to be out of the EU? Not being complicit in the direct funding of the death, rape and destruction taking place in Ukraine. The hypocrisy of the EU and those that support them knows no bounds.
  8. It’s far more important to look green than actually be green these days. Anyway, keeping people warm is such a stupendous waste of energy. It’s only been a thing since central heating was invented. Was not an issue before.
  9. It’s a nice toy. I never bought it to use it really. I actually made a copy of the handle out of Ash, polished the head and mounted it on that.
  10. It was such a poor attempt at a wind-up it was not worth responding to. XXL stores are generally out of the way. At least in Stavanger you'd be hard pressed getting to one without a car, they're certainly no where near any tourist hotspots. Øyo not very well made anymore, its as simple as that. There's a whole bunch of generation old brands out there that still trade on the name they made when they represented quality, Stanley and McCulloch spring to mind. Both still going, both peddling pish. Drit og dra! As they say.....
  11. I looked at your first picture again. Its blindingly obvious you need to add at least a meter to that stack. Its way below the Ridgeline. 🤪
  12. From what I've read and been told from guys off-shore is the infrastructure is far better in Sweden so Electricity generated in the North of Norway is not readily available in the South of Norway, so the Electricity actually transfers over to Northern Sweden and down to Southern Sweden then back to Southern Norway. Hence why the North of Norway has enjoyed continual cheap Electricity Prices but the South has been exposed to the highly fluctuating prices on the open market. Electricity rates hit new high - Norway's News in English — www.newsinenglish.no WWW.NEWSINENGLISH.NO Residents of southwestern Norway had to brace for their highest electricity rates ever on Thursday, while their fellow Norwegians in the central and northern regions of the country... The article above makes more of an emphasis on the lack of rain in the South of Norway but does highlight the fact its near on impossible to transport the electricity south due to the current infrastructure. The article below highlights what Im refering to though. Energy in north Norway is considerably cheaper than in the south, where price records have been broken throughout the summer. Sweden imports cheap energy from north Norway into north Sweden before moving it south and exporting it to south Norway. Just a moment... WWW.THELOCAL.NO
  13. At best thats 3 tons. Id have said two initially. Three loads will not remotely make 20t.
  14. I work with Norwegians who say in the bad months recently they have had to pay about £500-£600 a month. (Bloody Brexit)
  15. I thought Sweden imported a lot of Electricity from the north of Norway?
  16. We go through a similar amount. We have a 11kw Esse in the kitchen so it does all the hotwater, 1 radiator and the cooking and obviously heats the kitchen plus a 10kw in the living room. Bother are generally on from 07:00-22:00 or later if we're up more.
  17. Then ask for a tenner or even £12 each, the worse they can say is no.
  18. That looks to be significantly below the Ridge of the building behind. Optical illusion?
