  1. Thanks for your help Ferguson system so I want to try out the new rotatech bars out as gdh on here recommended them. So if I get a 13" bar to fit a small husky i.e. 240 it should fit ? It's a good processor 2011 I bought it second hand this year and I've probably only put about 25 ton through it so far as I only seem to be buying bigger stuff lately. Rob
  2. I've got a road tow japa 700 with a 13" bar 1.3mm 56 dl chains I've just had a new Oregon bar for it but I'm trying out these new rotatech chains and bars and wondered what brand saw bar would fit it ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Rob

  8. GDh is that unsharpened or do you mean total life of the chain ? Please update us how you get on with your new ones as if they seem reasonable il buy a couple for each of my sawd and my processor. Rob
  9. I've been struggling to dry wood enough to keep up with orders lately I'm even sheeting the tops of the stacks of cord but haven't gone to a kiln yet and once cut and split on pallets into the shed with a diesel heater blowing at the logs to try and aid drying at the moment.
  10. I've been paying £48 a ton NO VAT delivered on mixed hardwood semi seasoned. And I bought a load 2 weeks ago of seasoned very seasoned mixed ash and oak mainly but 3/4 oversized for £45 a ton plus VAT delivered. Hope this helps.

  12. I just looked at the rotatech chains and they seem fairly cheap ?? I've been busy cutting some oversized oak and ash mixed today trying to keep up with orders

  16. Here it is hopefully mr petts. It's not too bad to change back to single handed just unbolted the guard from over the spool lever undid the floaty they lever and screwed in a single solid lever. Rob
  17. Okay thanks il have to put my price up. I upied 200 nets of logs an 100 kindling to one garden centre last week and charged £2.50 a piece but I had to deliver to Evesham which is an hours drive from me. Will definitely put the price up. Thanks lognstuff

  19. Had delivery today of my new price fallows 16ton vertical splitter today with xxl table. Seems like a good bit of kit. Had to change the 2 handed operation back to single though much better now. Would add some pics but not sure how to on here.
  20. I didn't know how to write cubic meters to be honest
  21. Been a busy few weeks. Been doing average 15-20cm3 a week which is busy for me
  22. Looks okay I may go down the vertical splitter route like a 3 point linkage mounted one that can stand alone and run off a power pack
  23. Out of interest what did that cost as I've just looked on the website and there's no cost. I'm probably more after something a bit smaller that stands alone that I can run off my powerpack or 3rd service on my bobcat
  24. Hi guys can anyone recommend a horizontal log splitter with log table as I'm wanting to upgrade my one that's home built and has seen better days. Needs to be good and strong and as fast as possible. Thanks rob
