  1. Almost nothing, they teach how to technically do basic tree cuts and access the tree in a very basic way. Will take years of on the job training before you can expect 150 a day. You will be a burden to any firm for at least 1-2 year. You will also need large felling and aerial dismantling to be fully competent from a legal prospective. It takes 5-10 years to become a pro, you can get the basics and small stuff within 1-2 years, rookie at 3-5 years. Lots will say that's wrong but i have worked with 100+ climbers and this is my experience after 15 years climbing and 13 operating a business. You wont be able to freelance as you wont have any actual skill, you will just be insurable. Hope it helps.. Climb safe and learn fast.........
  2. Found our very first website
  3. Same, spent 500 just on the top flash banner and then eat humble pie lol
  4. I used it sometimes, here is our site back in 09 https://web.archive.org/web/20090301152024/https://thtreeservices.co.uk I used flash which was never good for page speed but looked good. Here it is now www.thtreeservices.co.uk
  5. Only a side by side will provide the answer.
  6. Id agree, i left out the vat. Id get the 66 on a 25 inch bar for the same money?.
  7. You have to feel your body, it will tell you when it won’t want to lift. Never push when you feel discomfort. Stretch always. Start light end strong. So many let ego do the thinking.
  8. oil pressure sensor, wiring connection such as stop system. Normally electrical. Unless you busted something.
  9. I noticed if I hit cardio hard, next day in the tree feels like an easy day. Always expected to be ruined but seams the body likes being used.
  10. Where do you get the boards? Been using wood.
  11. Been looking at the kanga kid 216. Guess if it cant lift into the truck my muck truck is still the best mini mover. We work lots of narrow access.
  12. Anyone find lifting reduces fatigue in the trees and less injuries?.
  13. Haha the amount I spend, they can see it in my quarterly ?. Live like a peasant, spend like a king ?.
  14. Great machine, very reliable, does the job. 4+ ton per hour. The back up service is first class, well that is an understatment . It has small niggles, short chip throw and over spray, other than that its a great machine. I only changed to meet new emission rules due 2019 and my choice was the best for my operation, other than that a QC is a great tool.
  15. Agreed Mate, I had helper springs fitted and it carry’s a ton like nothing :). Did you go for c18, lovely amount of power ?.
  16. Where can I get a better 27hp grinder that fits down 25inch sideways and weighs only 230kgs o wise one?.
  17. Iveco are my prefered trucks. Had transits when i started, thank god i made some money to buy a proper truck.
  18. I have this engine but went to forst, i have videos on my YT channel you can take a peek. Throughput on the forst is as good as any diesel 6 inch. Its rapid!. Tho the machines themselfs are very different. Engine wise, great on fuel, i stack the chip, starts every time, loads of power, responsive. My st6p is faster than my old quadchip 34td. Some suggest its faster than the 6inch diesel (35hp), tho im sure not with 6 inch timber. 37 hp petrol vanguard engine powered wood chipper
  19. They comply with the latest emission regulations, I guess that’s what you mean by nonsense. Whilst my engine burns almost all particulates and almost completely removes nox, does yours?.
  20. No they produce methane which is a bad gas for the environment..... Ah, back to carry a basket and hand saw whilst holding breath ?
