Population density and sheer numbers alone are always gonna put England at a disadvantage statistics wise. My point is you have dripped on and criticised every single move that’s been made since this started. You have slated anyone whom disagreed with lockdown as a tool. The number of deaths are as people are starting to see attributable to so many other factors than just slating government and non mask wearers etc.

So it’s the 4 devolved powers that are responsible for the 100000+ deaths then !!. The reality is the amount of factors involved are so complex that the imposition of even tighter lockdowns and restrictions may turn out to be a bit part player when all this is analysed in detail which it will most certainly will be. The rabid criticism dished out by the full on lockdown zealots to anyone whom questioned any of the measures is just part of the current tone. There was an excellent balanced and informed article on channel 4 news where the actual effects of non compliance in some stubbornly high covid rate areas was dismissed as insignificant in comparison to other social aspects ie housing, working environment and population density etc etc.

I’d back up what andy says. Functional and will do the job no probs, ok the welds are shit the paint is not the Best but it’s a decent B & S motor and once converted to single handed ops it’s a productive bit of kit.

Won’t ever be enough Andy. Now if he or other hardcore pro restriction individuals were actually being hit financially or had to pay the £1750 then you might see a difference. That’s a small but not insignificant portion of working people going to be utterly trashed financially by this especially in Sturgeons empire of envy.

Can you post a pic of the turnbuckles location ??. I found when building mine that the tolerances weren’t great and pretty much upgraded all the bolts etc to a better grade inc nyloks throughout. There is a slight gap between the rail sections but nothing to worry about. It was set for level once on the trailer chassis and has stayed spot on since.

As one of the enlightened, (and yet with self-proclaimed respect for CV-19), could you tell the rest of us poor sheep what is really going on please? Tens of thousands of people are literally dying to know the real truth. It’s not about not acknowledging or denying Covids existence or level of threat to whatever age group. The vast majority of dissent or disillusionment is primarily down to the use of Lockdown as the only tool in the box along with the huge amounts of collateral damage it causes. Whilst many on here have admitted that they have not experienced any financial hardships at all millions of others have often to the point of losing everything. At the end of this the statistics will be poured over as will contributing factors. Until that point some believe in one path others have a different opinion. Andy sitting in Norway right now is well placed to give an opinion of an alternative option to stringent lockdown.

No I’d say not to tell the truth. Very very easy to show some common sense and compassion. Easy to say you understand but until your pay stops hitting the bank every month how can they truly truly know what it feels like. No difference to politicians and those other industries or businesses unaffected financially by lockdown.

There was another article I read today where a son stopped his 93 yr old dad being taken into hospital and onto a covid ward because he had a temperature, he had collapsed with a urinary tract infection which in itself is enough to cause a temperature but protocols dictated that was enough to put him in a ward with confirmed covid cases. He subsequently recovered at home from the infection.
