  1. I thought you were fully vaccinated and wore a mask etc at all times.
  2. The Ministry of Defence said it received a request - known as Military Aid to the Civil Authorities - from the Home Office on Sunday to "provide routine counterterrorism contingency support to the Metropolitan Police, should it be needed".
  3. Easy Mark calm yourself. Ok in regards the uk potential deployment of armed support from the military ( brought about by the cps decision to charge an officer for the killing of a career criminal with firearms history ) it was for a specific counter terrorist scenario that lasted a few days. The issues in Sweden with the migrant population ) that better mark , I’m certainly not ashamed of my views at all) have been fermenting for years and are now at the level of bombing and shootings on such a scale the police can’t cope. It’s the same old story isn’t it mark, ignore the facts or evidence and play the race card.
  4. 🤷‍♂️Christ mark that’s a shit tie up bud and a pretty poor question to boot . The government has resorted to consulting the military to deal with the bombings and shootings from within a certain segment of the population 🤷‍♂️what I think personally of Sweden is irrelevant.
  5. Sweden long stood out in Europe along with Germany for having liberal immigration policies and welcoming hundreds of thousands of asylum-seekers from the Middle East and Africa. Sweden has since sharply restricted migration levels, citing rising crime levels and other social problems. A quote from the article in this case the key word in regards your chosen date of 2021 is “ since” or to put it another way it’s the equivalent of shutting the stable door once the horse has bolted.
  6. 2021 !!! You read the article I presume?.
  7. Sweden's leader turns to the military for help as gang violence escalates - ABC News ABCNEWS.GO.COM Sweden’s prime minister has summoned the head of the military to discuss how the armed forces... 🤷‍♂️looking like the shit has hit the fan in that bastion of all welcome here immigration.
  8. Police chief investigated over wearing Falklands medal despite being 15 at time APPLE.NEWS Head of Northamptonshire force faces questions over potentially misrepresenting service record Absolute blagger. Those on this forum who served in the forces will realise how low this is.
  9. Couple of articles not on the front pages with a more upbeat tone in regards a post brexit UK. Not bad for a bunch of hole diggers supposedly reliant on fictional Chinese nuclear know how.
  10. His criminal record speaks for itself. It’s strange how it’s very rarely mentioned in any of the articles on the incident. I’ve operated under rules of engagement in NI on a number of occasions but nowadays it seems many are more than happy to pounce on any individual who makes the slightest mistake. Quite frankly I don’t blame for saying FU and handing over their firearms to the desk jockeys or mouthpieces who are the first to condemn them. Five key facts into death of dad-to-be, 24, shot in car by armed cops in London APPLE.NEWS A GUN cop is facing trial charged with the murder of a dad-to-be shot dead in his... Not a squeak about his previous crimes and convictions.
  11. An Aide Memoire for life. Although I must admit there’s not much guidance in regards men wanting to watch their wives with other men 🤷‍♂️nothings perfect I guess. Sodomites on the other hand 🤔
  12. I take it you are still struggling with reliable base load solutions and now have a grasp of off peak hydro spare capacity etc etc. That was a good quote when the movie first came out but sadly overused somewhat by those lacking of a bit of originality.
  13. I figured you’d try and drag it down to the level you are comfortable with. Especially once you were called out again. I mentioned that particular site as it’s one I’ve dived on and am familiar with no other reason, you can’t beat real time experience or knowledge on a subject I find. Talking about knowledge I’ll just pop a bit of info in that might help you to work out that pumped hydro doesn’t need sun or wind, rather it does its thing at off peak periods. I’ve had an amusing discussion with the Norwegian guys on the vessel when trying to explain to them your theory of using wind and solar to pump water.
  14. Sorry but yet another post that is long but factually just not anywhere near the mark. The technology you allude to is already in place and working. The absence of tidal lagoon power generation in the UK is purely and simple a lack of political will. As I said previously if you are actually involved in an industry you tend to pick up on what’s possible and what’s actually happening. You might want to do a bit of research on “ pumped hydro” it’s already established and operational in a number of locations. DeepOcean performs offshore maintenance on MeyGen tidal energy project - Offshore Energy WWW.OFFSHORE-ENERGY.BIZ DeepOcean has been hired to conduct offshore maintenance work on MeyGen tidal energy...
  15. Lol your mind reading again. That utterly pointless post is just you writing self confirming crap to somehow reassure yourself you are on the mark. I’ll have to remember to read something else other than the Daily Mail apparently. I guess the various Guardian or telegraph etc etc articles are the ones you missed. You mention rage quite a lot it would seem, although apparently now you can also detect when someone is upset 😂😂. The question still stands what is going to provide the stable reliable base load we require o those not so windy days, whilst you’re answering questions the level of Chinese technical input that you quoted would be good to know of.
  16. Thanks for your concern but I’ll just plod along as I see fit. I’ll avoid being the keyboard police and telling people how to text too, 😡that’s a single angry face not meant to be taken seriously or indeed as an indication or utter RAGE. Tantrums and tiaras come to mind.
  17. Lol 😂 is that what you seriously class as rage, a few question marks etc 🤷‍♂️the projections he posted were exactly that “ projections “ Even the most ardent green fool cannot deny the requirement for a reliable base load capacity
  18. Seriously show me where the rage is 🤷‍♂️I point out where you’re factually incorrect and you resort to that crap. Pathetic. I’ve never said I had a monopoly on work but I’ve worked extensively in every one of those industries and see first hand how things are done. Try looking up Aramcos current field developments and projected output, there’s no one talking about shutting down oil and gas there or in Norway. Renewables have a part to play but a balanced mix has to include something that is reliable and there all the time, I await your answer to what is the only option. Your opinion of UK involvement at Hinckley sums up your utter ignorance on the subject.
  19. That’s your interpretation nothing more. China is the one with nuclear tech is it ???? , the out put of 1 nuclear plant can match how many turbines????? and doesn’t stop producing if the wind doesn’t blow. I’ve worked within oil and gas, wind farms and at Hinckley doing uxo work, you seem to have an opinion on all of these !! Can you elaborate on your first hand experience there’s no reason why we can’t expedite the nuclear build process. It didn’t help that for years the same fools that cry about climate change campaigned relentlessly against nuclear. I’m well aware of the capacity of the low level waste facility at Drigg, Sellafield, it’s something that can be managed. We won’t agree on any of this or your expert analysis of oil reserves but literally hog tying ourselves to insane targets whilst others adopt a more pragmatic approach is just madness. PS talking of China and there apparently vast nuclear knowledge amongst others you do realise where much of the wind energy infrastructure is manufactured don’t you !! First Hinkley Point C nuclear reactor complete - BBC News WWW.BBC.CO.UK The 500 tonne steel structure is due to be delivered to the Bridgwater site at some point... Le reactor Chinese Small Modular Reactors | Rolls-Royce WWW.ROLLS-ROYCE.COM Rolls-Royce SMR LTD was established to develop an affordable power plant that... 🤷‍♂️How do you think Nuclear subs are bimbling around for months on end underwater??
  20. I’ve a few hardwood blocks made up in common cut sizes with a metal strip on the back to sit on top of the cant that I do pretty much the same thing with, a bit slow but gives good results. Have to work from the top down which is opposite to the Trakmet set works which is programmed with the last cut first but it’s no hassle in reality.
  21. Onshore wind generation is generally an absolute eyesore, if and it’s a big white elephant if as far as I’m concerned we do end up pursuing this highly profitable but massively flawed ( for mainly overseas companies) policy then build them out at sea over the horizon. Nuclear is the blatantly obvious no brainer solution.
