  1. That is a massive surprise. Mind you how hard can any single government kick businesses before someone on the inside wakes up to the consequences.
  2. Atheism, cats and dogs the rest is fair game. After life 👍👍 4cda90c6-68c7-496b-89d9-cb5a8153c830.mov
  3. Watched Ricky Gervais a couple of nights ago in Glasgow Nothing out of bounds, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Gay, Straight, Labour, disabled, LGBTQ alphabet people etc etc they all got tanned big time. Absolutely brilliant gig, if you appreciate free speech. You no doubt would have been offended beyond belief.
  4. It’s a servicemen thing. What unit were you in SP ?
  5. For all the armchair generals , there’s a lot of current and ex members of the armed forces out there with a very low opinion of a man and a system who spent a lot of time defending terrorists and chasing down guys over trumped up BS charges.
  6. Labour’s priority is Growth 😂😂my arse, absolutely cynical ideological attack on anyone who dares to try and get on outside the public sector.
  7. It’s naive to assume Trump has betrayed Ukraine APPLE.NEWS Jibes about Trump being hoodwinked by the evil demon Putin are juvenile Some sensible analysis of the reality of the situation.
  8. 100% in regards the responsibility part. If anything this is a massive wake up call for all the NATO members that it’s time to spend and build up the armed forces again rather than living in complacency and hiding under the US umbrella. As is the case here a Politicians timespan is limited, there’s always been a strong isolationist element in the US look at WW2 and the likes of Lindbergh. Definitely dangerous times.
  9. The ball was dropped in 2014 J, the promises made regarding protection and security were forgotten. I’ve mentioned the shit on the boat I was on between pro Russian Ukrainian and Nationalist Ukrainian guys at the time several times previously , the Skipper “ a Canadian “ told them it was their choice leave the boat or leave the political shit on the quayside. Not being selective in the blame front but the German governments of that era and its energy policies played a huge part in how the situation is now. Not sure what you are confused at 42 ? This didn’t start 3 years ago.
  10. Try the bit about army housing and you posted the guys views not me So defence is a waste of money is it ?? explain what we would do without adequate defence capability please in the event of an attack 🤷‍♂️ Dont say it will never happen 😌look to Ukraine
  11. Proper piss take if that’s what they are paying top line civilian AR15 2K max
  12. You might want to check some of those details Mark
  13. Neil Jurd OBE on LinkedIn: For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' Chuck him out, the brute!" But… | 26 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' Chuck him out, the brute!" But it's "Saviour of 'is country"... Guy hits the nail on the head. Playing statesman with peoples lives just like Blair did.
  14. No I didn’t .
  15. Well J we are gonna have to disagree on this one. The actions of this country compared to the nation that started the war are light years apart. If bombing Desden saved the life of one allied servicemen it was worth it. You are looking at it with the luxury of hindsight and through your own very left wing socialist glasses. End of day you are yet to give us the alternative methodology you would have used. I honestly don’t think it’s me conflating things here J.
  16. Stubby I’m genuinely shocked that we have people on here equating the actions of the RAF crews of Bomber command with HAMAS and Nazi war criminals. It’s the unbelievably entitled behaviour of a generation that has not served and only knows peace. ****************ing disgusting attitude towards lads who gave up their lives then, so those self same pretentious pricks can voice such opinions freely today. Wankers no other word.
  17. Are you genuinely stupid ??
  18. Our views on Bomber command and you referring to raids as war crimes are never gonna align, to compare those lads actions in the same context ie war criminals as the SS and Wermacht killing squads is utterly ridiculous. Bomber crews knew the target and the make up of the bomb load on every flight J. I suspect they just wanted the Germans to quit even it was obviously a lost cause, sadly they didn’t.
  19. I think a lot of the tactics are a result of necessity. NATO tactical doctrine relies on overwhelming air superiority 🤷‍♂️they don’t have that but do have bucket loads or rpgs as do the other side hence they are in use.
  20. Where Britain should spend its defence budget - and why it won't be enough APPLE.NEWS There is near universal acceptance that the UK and other European countries must dramatically... As a nation any governments first priority should be its own defence and security , sadly multiple administrations of all colours have utterly failed, betrayed and stabbed in the back the armed forces. Thanks to the current US administration throwing some hard truths into the mix we might finally see the priorities change for the good,
  21. That’s in todays news 🤷‍♂️ Come on SP bit more effort I’d say on your part. Office life is making you lazy. At least make me work for it.
  22. 100% Correct Doug just as most of the soldiers on both sides did not want to be there or be killing people. But to look back and judge them as war criminals by using today’s moral standards is just stupidity. End of the day the Allied forces had an obligation to finish the war as quickly as possible with the minimum amount of their own casualties . If that meant destroying cities and inflicting huge numbers of civilian casualties along the way to shorten the war the prevailing mindset at the time was that it was a price that had to be paid by the enemy.
  23. Fortunately your opinion is worth Jack shit 1 of those guys who fought for your freedom are worth a thousand of the likes of yourself. Absolutely clueless. This is a serious question have you ever been under fire, in a life or death your or him situation or been on active service??
  24. Why do you keep putting up the numbers ratio. ?? We get it !!. WTF is a digital kind of guy 42 never mind analogue concepts. Something can still be very bad, even if it is not quite as bad as a very very bad thing. 🤷‍♂️utter crap 42. Of course there are probably innocent victims as there are in any conflict but unfortunately HAMAS are the governing power as the Nazis were in Germany. War is brutal. The situation in the Middle East might be a bit better if the nations surrounding Israel stopped supporting the termination of its existence. Just as an aside have you ever been to Israel ?? Or any of the Arab states ?? I have and I can assure you that Isreal was amazing compared to any of the others. Mind you I did do a desert driving and navigation course in Jordan years ago which was awesome.
  25. I’m well aware of how the ops were carried out and how bomber command were ostracised at the end of hostilities. Politicians did what they always do, send lads to do horrendous deeds then turn their back on them once it’s done. Yeah it’s a huge topic, and your hatred for the UK is well known J but to refer to the attacks by bomber command as war crimes is just left wing BS with a huge benefit of hindsight. What do you suggest they did at the time J ?? Take it easy and try and fight like gentlemen whilst millions were being exterminated in Death camps still operating at full tilt. You are a clever guy J and good at putting your point across but looking back 80 years and applying your reasoning and moral views today is bollocks. If it were not for Churchill we would be either goose stepping now or the war would have dragged on for years more. In WW2 terms the 37000 you describe is just a mere number. You forget to mention Russian or Japanese genocide by the way. Or even most recently Hamas slaughtering Christian’s 🤷‍♂️ J reality is human beings are the most evil creatures on the planet 🤷‍♂️. This looking back and guilt thing is maybe a throwback to your roots but for me those men were heroes not criminals.
