  1. The word "you're" looking for is gamble.. gamble that the price of oil remains stable... and high.. after much research on the subject were I once believed oil prices would exponentially rise, I had to rethink my conclusions and came to the conclusion oil prices will instead become ever more erratic as extremes of price bounce from one extreme to the other.. certainly has been working out just as I predicted some yrs back... only gonna get worse going forward...
  2. well if it was me doing it it would be done very slowly, and methodically.. If I had one I'd use one of those GCRS thingies to help.. as it is and as you know I'm not a tree surgeon.. so what would would take me three days or two would certainly take a proper tree surgeon half the time... as it is I'd rig it down in part and cut an chuck were possible.. The first job would be to kick the wooden fence out the way.. and explain to the owner the garage wanted taking down its a an eyesore anyway, so would help out in that department by bombing chunks onto the roof for best effects..
  3. Your right with your analogy.. I start work in spring and end as winter comes.. Same as your job, your in the autumn of your job career in the oil industry in the north sea, pretty soon it'll be winter for you.. Me, My cycle of life starts every yr in spring, yours will end and never return, left in the dark winter sun cause the oil will be gone..
  4. The key is silent.. they're out there but keeping quiet..
  5. You could do with concentrating on the job you have, I heard tell it was gonna cost sixty billion to clean up the North Sea infrastructure on the oil fields.. pretty soon they'll need all the oil money to clean up not dig up...
  6. You gave the impression once over you dabbled in a bit of tree work for the buzz once over.. now you wouldn't have a clue how to take a tree down?....
  7. If want to bleat about a job costing a couple of grand then this is gonna be the future of tree work.. If a customer is to be charged three an half grand might as well get their money's worth and get this in to do the job in an hr...
  8. Yes I do seem to know a lot, its a gift..
  9. As soon as I fix my truck gonna go get it weighed at the scrap yard.. the fella who sold it me said it could carry a ton... got an ally back on it, so maybe he ain't far off... By the way I'm not advocating breaking the law, so much as defending the concept of it being better to be overloaded with a downloaded truck against a 3.5 tonner.. No I won't be overloading mine as well... if I ever need to carry more I'll hook on a trailer... perhaps an airbraked one in the future..
  10. By legally I mean in the context of the argument I was using.. IE in a crash for instance, I mean to say the brakes were built for the loading of more than their legal load on a down rated truck... I realize that a down rated truck can only carry its legal load.. but we both know most 3.5 trucks get over loaded now and then.... Now the fella I bought my down rated truck off told me I could carry five tonnes on a trailer.. which is odd as most trailers are three an half tonners.. not that I'll ever be loading my trailers beyond that but is there a trailer out there to do that?... I don't mean the fifth wheel types as well.... in case it crossed your mind...
  11. that comes under tidying up...
  12. bet you'd do it in half a day Ratty, plus swap out an engine during your dinner brake for some light relief..
  13. If you'd followed my line of argument I said an overloaded 3.5 truck carrying the same weight as a down rated truck.. if you got two tonnes on both which truck was built to legally carry the weight?... which trucks braking system was built to handle the load?...
  14. No wonder folks are terrified of tree quotes.. That tree looks like a days work for two people, maybe another days worth tiding up and raking up... two man first day, one man second.. I suppose it depends on if your pulled out and need to get to the next job.. obviously then it'd be better to get more hands on the job... looking at that garage and measuring that against the tree, it don't look as big as it seems.. going off some prices anyone would think it was a giant sequoia..
  15. Not so fast, I'm on my last rollup before I go out for the day.. I'll be back later to carry on were I left off mind...
  16. and your missing my point, the liars could be the establishment charging him on what they can manufacture as opposed to what they see as his real crimes.. Embarrassing them for their cowardice...
  17. The fella called him a fascist which is a lie.. I'm glad he punched the coward, yea he's a coward. Thought he could use insulting behavior and get away with it.. well sometimes people strike back.. well done Tommy.. Too many scumbags who know their rights but not their responsibilities.. what happened to the fella who milkshaked him?.... nothing. whats good for one side is good enough for the other..
  18. Only because I can't be arsed finding the footage.. it would make sense considering he was later released on appeal.. and the judge who jailed him was roundly condemned at the appeal.. be interested to see if he's still working.. and why are you not bothered that Tommy Robinson is the reason why we're having rape gang trials at all.. he embarrassed them into acting on them..
  19. You know, the more I think of it the more certain I am.. I clearly remember him explaining he never admitted to contempt.. he was bounced into court given the charges he faced and jailed on the spot.. a kangaroo court if ever there was one.. The media was told he admitted to contempt and like the lickspickles they are reported without investigation... just as you are repeating their shoddy work..
  20. And the scumbags in charge would still be letting rape gangs get away with it to prove how tolerant they were... or how much of a coward they were....
  21. Not sure that he did, watched a vid by him claiming he did nothing of the sorts.... the real question should be why a judge put a blocking order on reporting on his jailing.. what kind of country do we live in?.. a damn banana republic or Stalin's Russia?... only lifted cause american media stuck two fingers up at our justice system...
  22. But its OK by you for the State to send you to jail for having an opinion and speaking out on it.. ?..
  23. if he was guilty of contempt why did they let him out?.. I watched the live stream live.. although he was sailing close to the wind I didn't see anything he aught be held on contempt for.. its a witch hunt to get at him on account of his unpopular anti extremists Islamic opinions.. The cowards at the top are out to get him for forcing their hand against rape gangs and having to deal with them. believe you me if left to them they'd let em rape their own wives and do nothin about it to prove how tolerant they are... truth of the matter is tolerance is masking their cowardice.. and thats why they don't like him.. he, Tommy Robinson has exposed them all for the cowards they all are...
  24. considering he was released once over on this trumped up charge I'd guess he wont even be jailed as he's already served two month illegally..
  25. I thought it was a matter of sending off some forms or other.. now if thats the case then you could argue what you like.. but the truck is designed to carry a legal limit and sending a form off to DVLA ain't gonna change that.. Now if the suspension has to change then obviously its a different matter.. anyway... my point ain't that you wouldn't get done for being overloaded, but that a mitigating factor could be successfully argued in court if you was involved in an accident.. If a 3.5 ton tranny was overloaded and involved in an accident and a downrated Iveco was overloaded with the same weight as on the tranny.. I suspect a judge would come down harder on the transit driver as his truck was not only illegally overloaded but dangerously overloaded and thus recklessly driven.. Couldn't make the same argument could he if the truck was carrying its legal limit that the truck was designed to carry...
