  1. Hi all. Just checking in to gloat a bit...thanks for the chuckles. Quite a gratifying result. The YouTube tarot readers and mediums aren't too happy, obviously.
  2. Hearsay and outright lies. All this stuff has been thoroughly debunked years ago, and new smears are easily exposed as the hit jobs they are. For example. Remember that woman he was convicted of raping? (by a kangaroo court set up specifically to kneecap him). She's a nutcase. Check her bio. Twenty five plus years and she never brought charges. New York conveniently changed the law to allow for statute of limitations exception for civil charges of rape. Very conveniently indeed. Almost just for her. She had "impulsive relations" with Trump in a changing room. Then lied twenty five years later and "remembered it differently". Then sued him for slander for calling her a lier. And won. In a corrupt political court. Paid? Who knows. She got something out of it. Revenge for not being a Mrs Trump, maybe. if someone falsely accused you of something, and you called them a liar, how would you feel if they then sued you for calling them liar, and won? You'd feel like justice was dead and buried. You'd feel like there was a political conspiracy against you. And you'd be right. Well, this is how Trump's supporters feel. They see it plain as day. This is why none of the media manufactured scandals have dented his support. As for the people who believe the media nonsense, they cannot be reasoned with. If they still buy the tabloid narratives after 8 years, they're not going to change now.
  3. Liberalism/progressivism is a far bigger cult than Trumpism. MAGA conservatism is the protestant movement in the sixteenth century compared to the RCC of contemporary liberalism.
  4. Yeah you're right, that figure was exaggerated. That's the Trump influence. They don't all vote. Same as people of the left. USA has what, 350 million people? Say 300 adults. Say 100 million odd (generously) are politically ambivalent. Leaving 100 mill conservative and 100 mill liberal. Of the hundred million "politically active" right/left groups, probably 75% of each group vote in presidential elections. Adjust my figure down to 75 million. Lived experience, Peds 😉. They like Trump. And many of them are Women, Hispanic, Black, poor, rich, and so on. Back to my original point: I suppose if we asked a bunch of different conservatives "how do/will liberal policies harm you" they will each give a different reply, from the very personal to the macro view. It may be paranoia or "wrong values" or itay be true, we cannot know for sure. But it's their lived experience. If we ask American liberal voters the flip question, they will do the same. Some of them will rattle off the list of talking points. I suppose it all comes down to ones pont of view...
  5. The 13 amp plug never gets warm, let alone hot. I was paranoid about this in the early days and still check it once in a while. It has blown the fuse a couple of times though. According to my guy the amp spike was only momentary and only if the splitter encountered hard stop resistance (enough resistance to activate the hydraulic bypass valve). I'm mindful of this and back off when a knot won't split, and approach it a different direction. At this stage I can tell by the sound when the machine is laboring. My machine is 3kw (startup?) I recall the new switch (and the old one) was rated for about 2.3kw or something, which thought a bit iffy. I can check, of anyone is interested. The switch/cap blowout occurred during a hard pull, I think. 80% sure. Loud pop and burnt plastic smell. Forensic examination by a different (experienced but not certified) spark friend, suggested maybe the switch failed first, taking out the cap? Capacitor was well and truly popped. Replaced with a better quality cap of the same spec. don't know if any of this info is interesting to anyone, but there it is.
  6. Weird how 150 ish million conservative voters don't agree with your liberal media talking points. Maybe their lived experience is different 🤔
  7. Definitely not a dig, my guy is a qualified spark. I know next to nothing about electrics, that why I requested he check my machine under the conditions I run it. He reckoned the amps spiked when the ram bottomed out or hit a serious knot that it wouldn't break through. IIRC 17 apms was mentioned, don't know if that makes any sense? We haven't tried the test on the new setup, with the beefier supply cable. I always unwind the cable fully
  8. I agree, it shouldn't be. But the nature of bifurcation of values and vision in America makes any enforcement of policy by either party president an act of harm to the other side, by default. Which is interpreted as revenge. And probably with accuracy, in some cases. I actually don't think Trump will go on a personal revenge binge, although if he does I wouldn't blame him. But it's fun to scare liberals on the internet. 😉
  9. If you are a Trump supporter you will know and what for. If you are not, you will never understand.
  10. Yes indeed. It will be gratifying.. Retribution cometh.
  11. This. The "15 amp blue plug" splitters will run ok on a 13 amp domestic plug, but need a proper gauge cord. I had a proper electrician test mine with an amp meter while running, on a 30 meter, 2.5mm unwound reel. He said it was close to borderline but ok. After a few seasons of this, and occasionally running a 50 meter 1.5 cord on away from home jobs, the switch and capacitor blew up. After replacing, I noticed the shorty "15 amp" cord that come with the splitter is only 1.5mm itself. Thick rubber with small wires inside. So I wired my 2.5mm cord straight to the machine, permanent. IMO the 15 amp machines probably the factory cord upgraded from the start.
  12. I'm doubling my money on Britain's foremost psychic... Twitter is exploding with rumors that King Charles has passed away today.
  13. Why does the Zomax have an extra filler cap by the back handle? I must say, my Lidl Parkside 55cc saw has been reliable and capable. Don't know if it's a zomax though..
  14. Ok. Are they up to stopping a gusher though? With the celox product they say you really have to pack it into the wound and stuff.
  15. Yeah, that's the one I got, the Steiner +. I moved the wee dressing to a personal boo-boo kit, it's not suitable for a life threatening bleed but good to know it works all the same. Replaced the entire contents of the pouch with a single celox z-fold rapid, at €75 a few years ago. I have another pouch kit in the van with a tourniquet, 2 Israeli bandages and a CPR face mask. Used one of the Israeli bandage a few years ago at the scene of a car accident on a casualty. Serious scalp wound but weirdly not bleeding much. I was worried the injured party would faint and fall over, further contaminating the wound. Having a nice long bandage with a built in fluffy cushion pad obviated a lot of the stress of the situation.
  16. For nerve damage to extremities - homoeopathic Hypericum C30 or C200. pills Pharmacy or more likely health food store. And comfrey ointment.
  17. Was that the wee woundclot dressing that comes in the personal first aid kits you hang on your belt? I got one in a Stein kit. Bought the kit on account of the woundclot, as advertised on the label.. when I saw the size of the thing I felt a bit cheated. Cool that you made it work 👍
  18. One set are harder rubber than the other. Allows for more control vs more vibration dampening, personal preference. Don't know which is which though ..
  19. IIRC he said like really short, a couple of years only.
  20. Britain's foremost psychic, Craig Hamilton Parker, predicted Charles reign would be short. This was several years back, before Elizabeth passed away.
  21. Wholesome....got me right in the feels. VID_20240206_135700_384.mp4
  22. They're the budget option for sure. I had a pair of their boots once, I think. Didn't last pissing time. They failed (leaked or broke) and were given or thrown away. The spikes have held up fine thus far, only rarely used though. Needed modified from the start to make them useable for comfort. The wire core lanyard was fine.
  23. Accreditation for mowing?
  24. How long do you think it will take China to ramp up output? Rus still buying western chips via third parties anyway, like we're buying their oil. The double standard bothers me. Talking heads (inc Ursula) going on about washing machine components and conscription (incompatible narratives) yet behind the scenes the grown ups keep trading goods and commodities and us plebs are supposed to believe the propaganda and emote accordingly. Is the whole thing a big joke to them?
